[0.10.3b] What's cooler than being cool? Ice Cold Templar
You gain frenzy charges for free basicly and 15% more cast speed is pretty boss.

Would OP or anyone using a build similar to this mind posting their gear?
I am interested in seeing what type of gear I should be aiming for and it would be interesting what fellow ice templars have ign: Redrummm

Wouldn't lmp be a better choice for freezing pulse? GMP is only increasing mana cost and lmp range on fp is already sufficient.

Another question why choose 1 hp option, can't think of any mobs that deal chaos dmg other than snakes and they are not hard. Why not go full hp version instead? (while still having some es on ur gear).
Also I cant seem to find any guidance what nodes to take first (like what would the build look like at 40/60 etc.) IGN: Kebehsenuf Last edited by ShadowWalker07#0104 on Feb 22, 2013, 2:58:56 AM

Trying a variation of this on Hardcore right now. Currently level 48 with about 2200 ES and 600 HP (have some HP nodes still from early Templar) and it has been working out great.
Plan is to run Freezing Pulse (Quality) + Added Lightining (Quality) + GMP + Life Leech (if 5L I'll add Crit Chance or damage) Quality FP is awesome for freeing up a slot so you don't have to use faster projectiles. I also modified the build to take a bit more ES % increase, but it follows the same concept. Planning on switching over to CI pretty soon here once I get closer to some more ES nodes. Here is my current build that I want to do: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgUAAW8C_gQHBVsHYwx9DkgQexB_ES8RUBGWF1QabB8CIoEpTysKLL8tHzQKNsU62DvhPI5Cw0bXRwZMs03YVytXyV3GXfJfamBtZk9nvW0ZcFJw1X5Zf8aBSYFvgpuESIhCiGuLeouMjDaMdo48jmSPRo_6mZqboZ2jna6ePJ6hoqOnCKcrr5uyOLTFtQS297b6uJO71r46wFHBAMHFwfPC7MNtxp7Q0Ngk2t3bGtvn3fPfhOFz4vfjhOQi5oHrY-vu7BjsOO0g7m_yHfVL96b8qw== I took first two skillpoints for bantits, probably going to take another skillpoint in Merciless, but we'll see if I really need another frenzy charge once I start using Blood Rage. |

Added lightning does not do enough damage to cause the shock effect I thought. Kripp went over it on his stream, as well as people testing it.
For my current builds, thoughts and videos.

Damage has nothing to do with it, its the crit that applies the shock effect and added lightning dmg do apply the shock effect.
