Remove Only Stash Unlock!
" Like I was saying above. Once the leagues end a lot of the stuff isn't actually worth keeping even long term. Yes those nice 6l uniques and etc can go somewhere but an average player will probably never use 95% of their temp league stuff ever again. The people who say they need them to store 3+ tabs of rares for new build ideas are full of bs to me because most people on here rarely even try to theorycraft or make a new build unless they get to 66 maps and try something else every week. The more I think about it and people post on here the harder it is becoming for me to think of their responses as being an actual defense. "It's all clearer now

"At the end of my earlier post: "I do acknowledge and understand that it is impossible for GGG to keep expanding storage space forever and there needs to be a hard upper limit on total tabs (say 255) and GGG will need to incorporate a mechanism so that at a future 4 month league end and the transfer of the tabs will exceed the maximum that a permanent league can have that those tabs will be locked and I will then be required to downsize and vendor off some items." So why are you and others trying to defend a change that GGG has made that is more illogical than the way it was before the change? What if I vendored off all items in RO tabs that were less than 100% full such that all I had left were remove-only tabs that were maxed out. Then I buy a six stash tab bundle. What do I get? 6 of those RO tabs are now full use tabs but are already 100% full. That means that GGG is forcing me to vendor off a lot of hard earned loot to free up space to stash new loot as I play. The loot to me is valuable for future builds. Who are you or even GGG for that matter to tell me I must sell off my loot because the new 6 premium tabs I just paid $15.00 for are not added as new tabs? The original way it was being handled was working just fine. There was no need to change it (other than GGG had some unknown to us technical problem that they couldn't solve and this was an easy out for them). The only thing left was to officially state what the maximum tabs our stash can have and then we will know when we hit that limit that no more can be added. The current method causes more problems than it solves. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."

I think a lot of people arguing with you think like my last posts. We kind of want to call bs that people bring that many gg or good leveling/build items that couldn't be vendored and replaced with another drop within a week. Yes maybe a couple of really good 6l rares or uniques but other than that everything should easily fit in current tabs or you were going to buy more tabs anyway.
I also would like to see you address the analogy I made here and 60x7 made in another thread. There is no difference between my dad/any storage building owner and GGG. "It's all clearer now

So you start up in a new league, buy a tab, and what happens? nothing has even been collected....so what happens? does the tab still populate? does it populate with stuff in it?
if this is only a problem for parent leagues then i don't really see a problem. |

" The correct answer is really simple: allow the players to choose which RO tabs get transformed in an actual tab. The easiest way to do this is to transform tabs sequentially as they are positioned from left to right. This way a player can easily choose which tabs get turned. When night falls

" Exactly this. People dont look beyond their platter because they have tunnel vision mode on. New leagues will have all the newly bought tabs and all will be empty and ready to be filled up. Race reward remove only tabs are not affected either. |

" IF GGG were to do something like this, they would need to make sure that the timer started ONLY when a NEW league's batch of RO tabs came down the pike, and only for the previous league's RO tabs. That would ensure that nobody might go away for a while (playing something else, military service, spending time in a coma...) to return and find that they have lost all those RO tabs. The activity on the account indicated by the arrival of the new RO tabs would mean that the player could then be notified by something in BIG RED LETTERS whenever they open their stash that those older RO tabs were gong to expire on (date). GGG could've handled this better. Some advance notification would have been nice, as would the ability to select which tabs to convert from RO. This doesn't smack of underhandedness so much as ham-handedness, and GGG really needs to step up and address the concerns of those of us who dun like being told to "clean up our room, NOW." I can absolutely see why some folks would have no reason to buy more tabs, under these conditions. As for those calling names and accusing people who aren't lickety-split on clearing out their RO tabs cheaters, y'all need to back off and take a chill pill. I have over 100 Premium tabs, bought and paid for, and I'M not in any hurry to sort RO tabs, either. But the solution which always tempts me, buying more, IS less appealing, now. Totaly agree with yha.
I grabed some new tabs and was very upset that they repaced my RO tabs with them , a few of them wher gem tabs to so very much a pain in the ass to deal with. Getting the new tabs actualy made my stash problems worse , since i still had no room for over flow ( all the tabs that unlocked wher full ) so i had the same problem after the new tabs ... but worse since i then had more stuff to sort out out. Hope GGG fixes this soon . Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

" New leagues are irrelevant here, this is a problem of Standard and Standard HC. Not sure who has "tunnel vision" -_- The players that get a kick in the nuts here are the ones that play in temp. leagues, but then continue playing the chars in Std for whatever reasons (finishing up the build, levelling up on spare maps, trying some other gear that you have stashed for later, or just liking to play that char). People that already have enough tabs to play temp. leagues (like me, for example), have now very little reasons to buy any additional tabs ever again! While before you would have a reason to expand the Std stash, now you cant expand it - because you can only buy occupied space. Even the wording in the shop is now wrong and misleading - "Add six extra tabs to your shared stash..." - you don't add extra tabs anymore if you have RO tabs left! Time will tell if this was a good marketing strategy or not. When night falls She cloaks the world In impenetrable darkness Last edited by morbo#1824 on Jul 8, 2014, 6:22:13 AM
