[OUTDATED] Zivko's WoE + BoR build - Seems like the build is dead
KaoiNC: No, I don't have any nodes in the dynamo circle. In my previous post my aura setup was using a level 21 reduced mana, but I just tested it with a level 20 reduced mana and it works the same. I'm not sure how useful the increased mana regeneration would be from your tree, with a 2% mana leech ring I haven't had any issues with mana. If you have any other questions I'll try to answer them as best I can.
Ogrec: The only adjustments I made to the skill tree were decisions based on what my gear could provide. I dropped wisdom of the glade because my rings had enough INT to work without it. I also dropped 2 of the 4% chaos res/4% life nodes because I had enough chaos res to outdegen Blood Rage without them, I just moved these points to regular life nodes. I'm not sure where I'd go next on the skill tree, maybe the hatchet master wheel for more DPS. I am using blood rage, and my attack time without frenzy charges is .18 seconds, so I'm right above 5.5 APS. I've tested out both versions of your build and this is the best version I've found so far, at least for running Atziri. Hope this helps :D |

At the moment im lvl 81 with 6001 armor, which is 36% reduction (with grace)
I got 5116 hp, the build really feels great. Im running the 6L WoE and I have belly of the beast and a good helm. Got 58/61 block cause I havent been able to afford BoR yet. The only thing im having problem with is quick bursts, like on a phys boss or a pack of big skeletons for examples. Its really scary to drop from 5116hp to like 1500 in one hit. Getting bor would increase my block to 73/75 but it would further decrease my armor in total. How do you handle bursts like that? Especially doing bosses like atziri? |

KILLED ATZIRI WHOOOO!
Thanks for this wonderful build Zivko! I managed to kill Atziri in rampage on the first try as well! I've wasted over 6 sets on standard using another build and all it took is this one rampage character. Was a bit nervous throughout the entire run so it was a bit sloppy, gem switching for her adds were very slow and I was a bit panicky. Great experience nonetheless. " Thanks for the explanation, Symeon. How much mana do you have exactly? (so I can know how much mana you leech per second considering the 12,5% cap) And what is the highest mana cost of your cleave setups? Edit: Last question: I have both setups: Cleave + Increase AoE (and Conc Effect) Dual Strike + 20% quality Melee Spash But I can't decided which one to use. What made you decide going for Cleave option? Thank you very much! Last edited by KaioNS#1125 on Sep 4, 2014, 12:25:18 PM

Yup, it helps a lot. I'd like to try it out and make a post about it, but don't have time atm and wont have for some time. If you have some spare time, could you write a post with your skill tree, gear (with gems in it) and take a screenshot of offensive stats? I'd like to add it to the thread as alternate setup, i'd quote the entire post so you'd be credited. Fujira One of the reasons why this build is so good is sustainability. Its similar to ES builds in a way because since good defense and high leech rate do not require lot of flask usage, you can carry a lot of utility flasks (resistance flasks and granite/jade flasks). Idea is to think about mobs you're facing and use flask preemptively to reduce damge you're going to take instead of having to constantly use life flasks _after_ the damage is dealt. If you're facing big hitters like zombies or giant skeletons, always pop a granite/jade before you run into them. If you're facing mobs with elemental damage, pop a resistance flask. It will reduced damage enough so it can easily be outleeched. And when you do get hit for a lot, there's always a panic button - life flask. Instant divine flask restores ~1800hp if you have 'profane chemistry' and 'herbalism'. It gets easy once you get Bringer and high level high quality gems, cause you get close to maximum block, have maximum amount of EC charges almost all of the time and you can use selfcast immortal call and cast long duration IC (7-8 sec) if you encounter a pack of hard hitting. I use higher level IC on CwDT since i have high quality gems and its more convenient. If you're having troubles now, you could use selfcast EC and IC, its easier to maintain high amount of EC charges and you have control over IC so you cast it exactly when you need it. That's how i play before i get Bringer. Its also a good practice if you never played like that, after a while, you'll get a sense of your IC duration and you wont even need to look at the timer to know when you need to recast it. reitaaaxD Glad to hear it :) gratz! |

As a continuation of my last post here.
Note: This build didn't follow the guide in the opening post. I didn't think it was worth making my own thread for this. I'd probably get shot down anyways like this guy did. I spent some time farming midnights to get currency to buy a BoR. Now that I finally have all the key uniques! I also tried out cleave+conc over dual+splash (suggested here) and I think it's much better in terms of theoretical dps AND effective dps especially in single target situations. This is due to the way multistrike causes you to retarget, but cleave still will do full damage to the main target, so long as you don't end up turning more than 90degrees in either direction, which can be forced if you stand so mobs aren't behind you. Current Tree Lvl83
Gear and Gem Setup
Some stats: 32k DPS w/ hatred (4k armor: 27% reduction) OR 8.4k armor: 45% reduction w/ grace (26k DPS) OR Both since I'm usually in a party and all these crit-split rangers run hatred 75/74 block 4.1k hp Next thing I need is some better gear. The BoR cleaned me out and I'll replace my obviously crap pieces of gear as I get more currency. Then I can drop some of the resistance nodes (along with the 2% block in scion) I took for more damage nodes. I'm expecting to push 40-45k DPS by lvl90. I'm playing mana-acrobatics version and it's going good for now (lvl83), I will try Atziri on lvl85.
This is current tree: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgQAAnEDhwSzBbUJWBRNFFIVIBjbGS4aOButHcoj9iftKNsqTSzpMHEwfDKJNJM1kjXvNro26TpCOu08LT8nR35KfUrIS3hNkk3jTipRR1b6V-JZ81uvXLBjcGVNZp5noGwWbbRuaW6qcHJyqXzZfXWBQYTZhxmHdo19jb-QCpBVmSuiAKOKp4SpaKyqtfK2Qbc-vYG-p8AawYvEuMT2xq7TftP81CPV-Ni926fdDd2o3-_jauw47g7veu_j8pz60vxL_MX-Cv6P_ro= I will get Lust for Carnage for more life leech (for Atziri) on lvl85 and all next passives will be 5% life. Maybe some reduced mana/aura nodes. Equipment:
Spoiler
SS: I usually use Hatred + Herald of Ash + Herald of Ice, but I tried Hatred + Herald of Ash + Purity of Elements for test and it's working well. If you keep hitting mobs you'll not gonna have problems with mana. DPS will get higher once I get higher level/quality Heralds. |

How rare of a drop is Mortal Hope?
PS. Sorry for the non-related build question. |

" Yea, I dont think I can reach those nodes; I thought about it. I did pick up the 1 extra 2% node over by acrobatics for now. I was needing more HP so I didnt get 1-shot, so I been going that route instead. At 4300 hp now. I was at 3700 at the time of my message. Here is where I'm sitting atm.

I'll probably get fell the weak instead of the chaos resist nodes because I dont run Blood Rage. I think I'm going to go for the +30 health node first tho. I currently use 5l Cleave with Multi+Melee+LL+Increased AoE, and swap out AoE for Conc effect. I use Herald of Ashe and Hatred right now because I have a ton of resists from still using a helm/chest. I'd like ot keep using herald, so I'll probalby have to get Dynamo node when I finally get a BoR. I'm pretty close; my 5l chest I made is probably a 2-3 exalts, and I have about 5 exalts in currency. They are incredibly expensive on Beyond; cheapest being 9 exalts. I was doing that but just started farming 66 maps. Sadly, I am not real familiar with some of the maps and what I can do, so I'm being a bit cautious as far as playing goes. I'm 78 atm. |

Currently doing this build. With my Standard wealth, I can sneak a Ming's in for extra chaos res + deeps. I will also run Cyclone + Conc Effect with your tankier Acrobatics spec.
Will post later to compare. |
