I think it's worth noting that GGG is making 10,000 Friend keys available, instead of just letting the evil Timer do its work. That means more folks will be getting into the Beta based on human interaction, and not just luck. Now, how many key-spammers do ya think will be getting in, as opposed to folks who have made friends here by virtue of their posts?

Yeah, me too. But nobody can complain that those 10k keys will be going to "inactive people who don't care." =^[.]^=

It's great but the luck of getting drawn is still astronomically low. Doesn't mean I've stopped hoping though

You still have a much better chance of getting into this beta than most others.

At least it seems like they are ramping up the numbers, as opposed ot some other betas going on!

I stopped calculating friend invites by time after the 13th under the assumption that adding 10,000 after 2 weeks would be accurate.

It does mean a better chance for someone lurking the forums to grab a free key!
