The REAL Beta Numbers Thread

Updated with numbers from Nov 14 to present, including news about 13,000 friend invites being sent out in the past 2 weeks.

Total estimate of possible beta accounts is over 30,692.

These numbers confuse me. How are we in a closed beta that isn't ready for more players yet there is 18,000 + invites? this doesn't make any sense

what if every person were playing their account. apparently GGG isnt ready for that? so wtf?

They are inviting people at a rate they feel comfortable with. If it gets to a point where they're not prepared for more players, they'll just slow down the invites.

They are scaling everything up at a steady rate, and will probably continue to do so until open beta begins. I wouldn't be surprised if 30-40% of accounts were beta members by open beta.

Update for previous 2 weeks, another 4,000+ timer invites.
