way through the tree gives you that mana regen (basicly as much as kripps wand templar) while having enough HP nodes and armor (IR) being able to run 5 auras (clarity determination grace hatred Discipline) having enough armor to not 1shot yourself from reflect with EK, while using 2 bear traps. so using 3 hp pots and 2 granites or taking one out for a quick silver & not using a mana pot seems to be the best way

like ur idea alot but i feel byrr is gettin more dps with his str nodes + iron will. amirite? i ASSUME thats the trade off, mana pot spam for more dps but i could b wrong since i do see u hav many crit nodes. /confirm? :o

There is definitely more than that. I don't have time to make a really detailed comparison, but Byrr's build has more armor(122% increased armor + 70% increased evasion) vs the other build which has 124% increased evasion. Byrr's build also has more health, slightly higher cast speed and spell dmg, and more reduced mana cost of skills. On the other hand, the other build has significantly more mana regen, more maximum mana, 10% resist + 8 chaos resist, 250% crit chance, and 60% crit multiplier.

There are some other differences which aren't too big of a deal(unless I missed something). I think the crit might come on top when it comes to dps, but I could be wrong. However, I feel like armor and health is much more important than dps when it comes to this build. I understand you can drop the mana flask for an extra granite or quicksilver, but I'm not sure how I feel about dropping that passive survivability.

I don't think that crit is the way to go. If Byrr kill him self to reflect, with more crit it's only going to agravate this problem.

In my opinion theres no point in more dps, what it needs is more armor and more life.

I'm experimenting going to the templar and marauder part of the tree instead of the duelist.



With this build you can run about 6 auras (Discipline, Clarity, Hatred, Determination, Grace).

I think the main problem is that it lacks on armor, but on the other hand it has more life and life regen.

I am in the process of re rolling this build (the one posted on page 15) after losing my 70 ranger, have a few quick questions if anyone might be able to help.

1. Leveling up (30-50, before EB) should i be taking ES gear?
2. How do you meet the dex requirements to level up mana leech / bear trap ect (i am guessing +all ring or ammy)
3. The build takes very few resist nodes (none i believe), am in correct in thinking all of my resists will need to come from gear, this scares me a bit =).

no kripp just played with byrr when he died and recorded it on his twitch

byrr is Dave in kripps mumble.

I like the sound of this build and want to try it but I keep getting warned that I'll die to Physical Reflect mobs (Like the build's creator).

Are there tweaks you can make to protect from Physical Reflect? Are they effective?
