Remember the CB plan. The game developed in the opposite direction

If you found "Uncharted 4: awkward AI" and "No Gameplay: The Game" more enthralling than PoE, then you clearly have different standards than me. I haven't looked at AO, but it was branded almost universally by critics as medicore, especially in comparison to the last two games.

The issue is first and foremost the fact I find PoE to be the best game of 2013. This statement shouldn't be any surprise from someone who's been playing the game since 2011. The fact you find my opinion contentious is hypocritical of your above statement; you're no better than me by pretending like your opinion somehow overrides mine.

in short 'blaa bla bla i love poe bla blah bla' - sorry, wont waste my time any more with you

And this is why we can't have nice things, nobody wants to debate the hard stuff.

Well, this topic is already pretty horribly off-topic. It should honestly just be closed.

It's really not any wonder the devs seldom post here anymore. We've somehow become less civil than reddit since the last time I played this game in earnest - how deplorable.

Also, anubite tends to do the same thing as I do. Finds threads to disagree with as what's the real reason to say "I agree" then move on. He's not an alpha member out of longevity, I've seen him give critical feedback many times. He just disagrees with YOU, so you think he ALWAYS takes GGG's side. He's being a rational person looking to make the game better through good feedback rather than bashing GGG and hoping they make him happy with his vague demands.

Btw, I'm really not that much of a fan of anubite either, I'm not sure there's many topics we've agreed on and we argue often, here and on the alpha forums (not so much the last few months because he's been away). But I respect anyone who can share a point without vague ideas and just bashing anyone who doesn't agree with your views. You have a long reply that could have been summed up by just saying "fuck you, bitch."

Not so sure about that. I had a thread about the mirror being a bad item. His response was: there are people who wanted it, so it's good. My response to that was: there are also people who would want mirrors in the itemshop so by his reasoning that too must be a good thing. Which he took as me promoting pay2win, denied me any credibility and was never seen again.

This whole issue left me with the impression that he has some problems staying objective when it comes to PoE. Has been confirmed ever since.

Not so fast.
I'm still waiting to see one of you convince the other apples are better than oranges and vice versa.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Interesting that you state a fanboy is someone who says the game is perfect, than go on to bring my name into this. I have quite a long list of gripes. Most of my suggestions tend to be more thought out than your decaying currency suggestion.

Guess what. Many players like to save up fusings when attempting a 5 or 6L. Where does that leave them? Fucked

And then you prove that you don't read my threads. You just came here because you received a PM.

My idea was to have common permanent currency, alts, transmutes regrets....
Common decaying currency because of powerful receipes and high drop rates(Regals, Alchs, Chaos, Exalteds(~chaos drop rate))
And having rare permanent currency(Divines, GCP, Mirror)
Eternals can be removed because it's based about crafting not resetting mods.

Itemmods will get a large range such as 1-300ed so divines will be important and selling a 6 link for a divine might be a good idea!

The goal should be players use the rare related currency to craft rares and magic related currency to get superior currency or craft magics bases for regals(thats why eternals are a bad idea for this league)

Fusings Chroms etc are still permanent. But Chaos, Alchs Regals and Exalts are not to prevents 1000 Exalt for X trades.

Read my full post on decaying currency again in the correct thread. This thread is about POE going in the opposite direction of the initial plan.

CT with current settings is something destined to fail and I am not talking about PVP balance!

When have I ever said this? I've never used the word "perfect" in my posts, ever.

You described ther mechanics as revolutionary and the game as best game of 2013 and insult players having a different opinion.
In other threads you deny flaws and defend it with "It's excellent that way"

Your attempts to insult everybody who doesn't share your opinion or deying flaws clearly show that you have an image that this game is in a perfect shape.

PoE's systems have good intentions and can be improved to meet their established design goals.

OK then prove me following: How are decreased drop rates, slower game pace, nerfed receipes in harmony with goals like:
"We want players to be convinced by our way of trading and make RMT unimportant"
"We want design a game where botting isn't desireable"

It's not the exactly the same wording but the same substance.

The RMT problem is like a cancer and on top of that GGG doesn't even ban JSP users.
Botting, isboxer etc. is really popular and there are high demands in there.
If the game wouldn't constantly update the game would look like D2 already and only the dumbest botters would get banned.
And with dumb I mean:"Hey look I can play with 10 chars at the same time 24/7 ban me"

PoE has the "perfect direction" - it's indie, it says no to P2W, and the developers are in it for the longhaul, not to shovel out the next unfinished game six months from now.

Indy just means they got no publisher
P2W yeah but P2BH, P2RNP are the real cases(and everybody who visits the forums and sees the dev behaviour will find out what BH and RNP stands for)
While designing uniques isn't Pay2Win you should really read the last newsletter that some Itemcreators indeed want it to be P2W.
No it's not COD you are right but what the devs to is extending the lifetime of a dead game with new uniques, new leagues and 1 weekers.
A really common thing to do on dying MMORPGS.

A quality game has a working economy for years and a the players don't leave so fast. Since GGG only sees a difference in players in one instance between MMORPG and ARPG and I have different expectations on an ARPG which are far less grindy I name PoE an Asia Grinder, because it fits perfectly after I saw some Koreans ARPGs.

'the walking dead'.

I figured out that there is TWD:Survival Instinct, because TWD is from 2012 ;)

You asked for games better than PoE is now. And I can't find anybody mentioning Uncharted.
PoE in CB would get less competition because I liked CB far more.

And here is another problem you listen to corrupt reviews, who add points depending on ads and sponsorship.
For example Gamespot and the Kane & Lynch incident(Where PoE won the GoTY award) clearly showed how corrupt they are.

AO is weaker than the predecessor but that's a problem many games have got with powerful predecessors and games get bashed.

Majoras Mask is still a good game but plays differently and is worse than Ocarina of time and it got destroyed by critics.

Beyond Two Souls is a good QT Adventure games but the expectations after Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain were just really high.

There are very few expections where a successor is superior to a really good game.

Because you started to derail it with insults and other fanboys make claims their posts are better than others. I don't know who pmed who to derail the thread and I don't care.

My posts are among the longest feedback posts and I remember somebody complaining one of my posting had the size of 20 Wordpages on Size 10.

The OP stands and clearly shows that the game developed into the opposite direction of the initial plan, and if somebody ready the thread he will read the OP.

It clearly shows examples of future problems, such as CT leagues.
Even with the best PVP balance to be seen CT will die, because a comeback in Default leagues only will be possible via RMT.
CT with current droprates isn't something desired by PVP players.
Nobody wants to grind 600+ hours till he is prepared against all matchups.

A typical GGG fix will be like: "Players lose only 1 item after kill"

But you heard it here first. Current Settings(no matter how good pvp is)=destined failure.

So, if a player doesn't log on, he loses his currency?

And what pm?
He will lose rare related currency after some time.
The time interval is something that has to be taked care of.

The currency will be that common that the loss is irrelevant it should be used a craft currency not as trade currency.

There's nothing about this idea that should be considered a "solution".
All this does is cause discontent and hurts the casuals.

You know what.... while I might be able to care less about what they are talking about and find some issues with some of the points they try to bring up....

You choose to search an internet forum per your own freewill to find this thread for the sole purpose of posting that and you have posted it in several other threads and that is an annoyance of mine.

Your are not the thought police who get to decide what we are allow to think
You do not get to decide what is allowed to be discussed or posted
You do not have the authority to order the mods around

as mentioned many times before... PoE is designed as "hardcore" game (by some fanboys answers) so there are no casuals. PoE's "hardcore" content is meant only for "hardcore" players am i right ? so whats the problem ?
