hiya. a bit of a problem turned up. last 2 days when i meet a physical reflect mob and flicker in i melt myself due to the reflect. is it that the damage output is so high so the Lifeleech cant keep up ?

Can you please link your dagger and tell me how much total life leech and es you have?

You are probably not leeching enough to overcome the reflect. So eat hit takes you down more than the leech brings you up.

I can eat reflect while using RF because I have 16% leech so as long as I hit a granite first to reduce the amount of damage I take.

How much does wrath add to your dps? I'm thinking that if I were to get alpha's howl, a higher ES shield, and vaal pact, I would have enough EV/ES to run Wrath and Hatred. With a few more mana nodes, I might even be able to throw in purity of fire to let me use righteous fire...

Wrath adds about 110% MORE dps. With high crits and using Pain Attunement and Righteous Fire to buff Wrath, it triple shocks every rare and boss. This means that i get a 90% multiplier against them. It also adds some good flat dps, I would say about 20% more. I added these two together to make up the 110% more dps.

HOWEVER, you really need to run Hatred for reliable dps and chills and freezing to help your defense. You also need Discipline to stay alive through reflect and spike damage. And finally I think Grace is probably necessary as the third most important aura or I would die so much I would be frustrated with the build. I would pick up Wrath 4th, but I would never want to play without it again.

I have not been running purity of fire and I use Righteous Fire with the help of a surgeon's ruby flask on all the maps except the -max resists. But I am at 90 and not leveling any more, so not afraid to die, sometimes. Purity of Fire would be an additional help to run Righteous Fire more constantly, but it would not solve all the problems, and you would have to still turn off RF sometimes.

This is why I recommend Prism Guardian despite the low ES. Running 3 60% auras on life is insanely powerful. I don't have to choose, but can use all the goodies.

Iam 52 , should i take vaal pact already or wait untilla i take CI etc ... ?
I dont know how to spend my points untill 60 .
Should i save points and spent it all when i have 1000+ ES ?


Cant use any other aura than hatred ,starting merciless is hard lol . with 950 hp.

I would save up about 3 point from leveling/quests around 60 and then put them into vaal pact, ghost reaver, and chaos immunity at the same time. You can't take easily benefit from one without all of them.

I would take them as soon as your ES is higher than your life. Respec out of any life nodes you have and take some of the es ones.

Take them at 50 if you have the gear. If you don't have the gear until 65 take them then. However it becomes harder to level on life without spending more into life nodes around 50 so try to get the gear early as possible.
