Anyone using Bino's Kitchen Knife unique with this build?? I'm thinking of buying one. It has a whopping 10.20 crit multiplier but it's not very fast. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Bino's_Kitchen_Knife

I would not buy Bino's but would use Bino's until I got a better one :) The problem is that for this build it's a little slow to benefit from the auras and a little harder to use against reflect because the damage is spikier. Because some build can really bebefit from it it is overpriced compared to its use to us. Still it's a great dagger and a better skean or ambusher (faster than bino's) is usually about 20 ex.

We do chaos damage from the adder's touch and Bino's is awesome in groups to give others regen. I can't dis Bino's because it is really good. But I like as fast as possible so the bonus elemental goes up more and so we shock fast and move around faster. And I want a faster dagger so crit more often and so can use my flasks more often.

There is difference between life build or CI build?
Right now i am running life build (2500HP) and i can die in 2 hits.
If i switch to CI my survivability will be better?
It is possible to have survivability with both. I dont think its related to life or ci. If you die in two hits I have to ask about your other defenses? Do you have armor or evasion? Are your resists maxed? If so then how much leech do you have? What about val pact? Do you use it?

Ci builds can have up to 10K ES, and having 4-5k is quite easy.

If you are concerned about survival, HP pool DOES matter (that's why players like Kaom so much, that's why they choose "path of life nodes", etc).

If have a good way to recover your ES pool, ES will always be better for survival.

There is no knowledge
That is not power
A larger hit point pool matters most on higher maps where damage increases. If you are dying easily on entry level maps or in merciless act 3, I would recommend getting more life or es but I would first look at all your other defenses because if those are really weak more hit points in life or es won't save you. Life is typically better defensively than es when talking about the same amount of either because life helps more to negate stuns and status effects. ES is better because it can recover more quickly and because you can more easily get more es than life. Finally high ES can be had with less investment into passives than high life so es is better in certain builds that need the passives for other uses. However these builds are usually very gear dependent and expensive.

Can you please link your dagger and tell me how much total life leech and es you have?

You are probably not leeching enough to overcome the reflect. So eat hit takes you down more than the leech brings you up.

I can eat reflect while using RF because I have 16% leech so as long as I hit a granite first to reduce the amount of damage I take.
