Barrage Wonder Wanderer – how to DEMOLISH maps (1.3.X)
Im lvl 69 currently as mentioned above, and just specced VP. Specced out of it now after some maps and your feedback. But before i specced into VP i specced those life nodes above for the reasons you mention, so now im just gonna keep the points there.
My tree atm: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgYAAAYEfgUtBfkOSBGWFfAV9hjbGYoajxrbHhohYCP2JDwk_SaVJ6kppSpbLYM2ezpYQKBJO0lRSn1MsU4qUEJTNVVLVvpaSFptW69d8l76YEtieWKsZ6BtbG17cFJwu3DVdO108Xrvf8aHGYd2jDaP-pAKlwabtZ2jnaqeuaIup1yuz7VIwFHEosuC0O7SGdN-1p3W0d0N51Trju4O73rv8PPq9tr3o_lj-wn8q_zF_5M= Gonna specc the last 8% hp node at the top first, then picking up the extra power charge + the crit multiplier "pressure points". After that ill just get more crit. Skelly stuff seems good indeed. Gonna fix my linksettup to get that. Last edited by SylvTheMonnin#0437 on Feb 21, 2014, 9:28:19 AM

Looks like what I would get for HC. Survivability 1st. Actually the fact that you're playing this build in HC makes me want to try it there too, I was thinking about it but decided it would be too squishy. Now I'm starting to reconsider.
Skellies get better and better when you boost your crit chance for more reliable procs and level them to become 6 and not get 1-shot by everything. But, I can't stress that enough: be very careful not to attack reflect mobs with the skeleton-spawning attack because it doesn't leech life. I did this once at it was instant death since I didn't have granite or evasion flasks up either. You have to be realistic about these things. Thought it would be too squishy myself, but really wanted to try it out so. Just starting mapping now, ill probably post later this weekend about my experience there. Thats the problem right now yes, skellies die too fast with low lvl CwDT.. Thanks for the tip about reflect, absolutely makes sense but its easy to forget and just blast away :p Will have to be careful.

Ehh, I am not liking this build at level 64 atm. Lunaris Temple is impossible to solo with my setup.
Ain't sure what to do... it's probably my 65% crit chance, both my wands are 9.5% base crit, I guess that is my problem. Many times I can see my character barrage 3 times in a row and I won't get a crit, and channeling Barrage forces your character to stay still for just long enough to get you killed. <---- *mega sad face* That is what I look like currently at lvl 64. After my experience in Lunaris Temple I have now lost my motivation to put anymore currency into this build. There's no way I can afford a 6L Voll's, and I am not sure if dropping Chain so I can use a 5L Voll's would make me enjoy this character more.

Other than the CWDT setup, what am I missing?? Last edited by Confusedd#0010 on Feb 22, 2014, 5:23:17 AM

Respec to this, forget about Vaal Pact, change your gem setup to Barrage - CoC - EK - Power Charge on Critical - Raise Skeletons - Life Leech.
Try it out and, if (I would say when) you like it, aim for this tree for the near future, which will allow you to run grace + hatred + purity and sustain barrage with a low-leveled clarity on life. You also need Iron Reflexes to get some decent armor and to be able to stack a surgeon's granite flask of iron skin + any surgeon's flask of evasion. If you have problems with Piety with this setup, I would say the problem is somewhere else. This does not require any resource investment besides a few regret orbs. edit: reading the thread from page 24 until here would also be very useful - no one ever said that you NEED Voll's, just that a 6-link voll's is the ideal endgame option since it's like a 7-link. You need FIVE links in any armor for this build. I'm at level 78 currently with a 5-link, not voll's, and i'm doing just fine. You have to be realistic about these things. hmm if i remove vaal pact that's going to be interesting... on one positive note I do not have to worry about reflect pacts in easy areas like Docks, but in Lunaris temple... I can't see myself leveling this build to 80. The mobs in there simply hurt too much.
[omg summon skellies makes a huge diff already!] Last edited by Confusedd#0010 on Feb 22, 2014, 6:16:19 AM

Hi
Thanks for the ideas and excellent thread/build discussion. I switched to power siphon instead of barrage for power charges(PS:LMP_ICM_COC_IS) works great. I also specced into EB so I could use my cloak of defiance for MOM. For endgame I was planning on VP but am starting to think life regeneration will be better for the hit and run shadow approach. cheers Conan: Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.

I finally managed to 5-link my Volls, switched to coc-barrage-EK-life leech - Cold Snap and the improvement is dramatic. It almost feels like playing a completely new character. Anything but the highest-hitpoint bosses is permafrozen and became easy to the point of being trivial. I'm still working on building a solid map base and, for now, I'm only at a level 68 base, it might become tougher in 70+ maps.
You have to be realistic about these things. Logen Ninefingers Last edited by Bars#2689 on Feb 24, 2014, 2:12:12 AM
