"Leaked" patch notes and concerns over changes

I agree with this. A "X% more crit chance" buff would reward players who invest in crit chance, but not give players with no investment free crits.

The main thing working against a flask like this is flasks should give relatively predictable effects. Even with 66.6% crit chance on your char, bc of the crit chance cap, that kind of a flask, could unluckily give you ZERO crits during its duration; popping a flask and having it do absolutely nothing for you, even if you're specced into maximizing that flask, is harsh, probably un-fun design

Possible solutions for Diamond Flasks:

1- Boost Damage/DPS (magic/physical).
2- Boost Critical Damage, not Critical Chance.
3- Boost Attack Speed/Casting Speed (I know it would make Mana/Life Cost high for some seconds).


Here since Closed Beta. Never found a Mirror. Still love PoE. :- )

Thing is, the totem keystone and New CI doesnt really change anything.

Totems are used as risk free, full reward DPS.
CI is used to make defence stacking easier.

The "No DPS from player" from the new dual totem keystone = No change in current function.
The "Chaos Damage effects Energy shield" just makes players play more carefully.
It wasnt as much as a nerf, but rather "Make the builds do less dps".
Atleast that is what i read into the leaked notes.

What? Sparks totems are used because they're safe, not because they're especially powerful. If you wanted to nerf caster power you'd nerf frozen pulse.

Also, the biggest problem with Chain is that it resets range on each chain. This pretty much allows you to clear rooms far ahead of where you actually are.
So because he's a popular streamer and gives GGG good publicity, they are completely ignoring the fact that information was leaked, whereas any other person if found doing this would be in big trouble?
