"Leaked" patch notes and concerns over changes

Please don't post patch notes that aren't released. Anything that isn't released isn't finalized. Sometimes alpha notes change day to day.

I think the change to CI is fine. Not many people play melee because they are underpowered especially in late games. Most builds that take CI are summoners, dual totem, and ranged. It doesn't effect melee character in anyway. It kind of balances all the character a bit.
I know CI melee players :D He was raging in Alpha before we even knew what the fuck pissed him off.
It is still very likely to get over 10k ES at the cost of 5 extra skill points. However, it would just lower your attack damage slightly. But have you ever consider the fact that life is harder to get. In order to get around 4k health you need at least 150%+ increase maximum life. That's about 15 nodes wasted on hp alone.
Have you ever considered that life can be regenerated, leeched, and flasked? And that it comes with evasion, armor, and possibly ES? Honestly, the effective life gained by ES is rather small and only works against TINY bursts of damage, as it is meant to. Instead, we rely on ridiculous damage to clear our foes away before they kill us. Seriously, you know what scares me more than a big hit from a boss? A group of burrowers shooting tiny little rocks at me.

While the CI route is at 12 nodes.

Also. HP builds don't get proced by elemental effects or stun nearly as often, and can regen from flasks.
Although life can be regenerated and leeched, you cant survive on life alone. You also need to get a few armor and or evasion nodes to be successful. The nodes adds up. Unlike for ES, you just have to worry about getting as much as possible. You can always kite the mobs as you wait for your ES to heal.
