"Leaked" patch notes and concerns over changes

I've seen this posted on NeoGaf, any info how accurate these are?

„I don't give a fuck if it was his tenth anniversary with his goddamn neckbeard...“
„If they think I'm going to let them sweep this pizza guy thing under the rug...“
No mod action. Business as usual.

why are you posting this when they obviously don't want it posted yet?
I saw that posted on NeoGaf, I have no idea whether they are accurate or not. Or from where they got onto NeoGaf.

My only concern there is the Cruel difficulty. The way it is currently phrased essentially reads, "Go ranged or gtfo." Which is not something I would want/enjoy as a HC player, at least make it possible for melee to stand a chance in HC.

Right now anything HC = ranged, period, the end. Which is sad as it removes so many specs and abiliteis from the game.

whats the point of geting CI now?

CI should be
"Maximum Life becomes 1, Chaos Damage no longer bypasses Energy Shield, 50% more ES"
or
"Maximum Life becomes 1, immune to Chaos Damage"

otherwise its really pointless and u can erase it anyway. iam not against making game harder but GGG, do something with it!

How about a keystone/skill/aura that would reduce the amount of damage taken while reducing the amount of range damage dealt?

On the neogaf thing, it's basically a report of what you could see on Kripp's stream over the last few days. In fact there's a thread that probably fall to 2nd page by now that had pretty much the same stuff in here, on the general forum. Might have been locked too.

These are the current alpha changes observed. That doesn't mean they're OB notes or OB changes. Devs will often try and test stuff on alpha to see how it works in a live environement and get feedback on it before chaning it(or leaving it as it is). Some of that will go live, some won't, it's impossible to tell what. It's also a non exhaustive list, it's missing a lot of stuff especially stuff that Kripp might or might not have noticed because on stream he hasn't been very thourough about comparing gems or talents to the live version(I'm sure he's done his job off stream though ^^). Just as an example, Whirling Blades effectiveness went from 60% to 80% or spell totem also has a -30%cast speed reduction.

This is exactly what the OP by Chris is about, posting an incomplete list of changes that might or might not make it live. And the expected results, people like goslaw coming in and complaining about stuff that might or might not be changed based on knee jerk reaction and a lack of understanding of the global effects of other changes on each changes. For example, the listed nerfed CI is still stronger than life builds in the very late game in combination with the possible new keystone with an endgame build and endgame gear, assuming you have prior easy access to CI(witch, shadow, templar). It is also possible stronger than the CURRENT CI in non chaos damage heavy situations and fairly similar in chaos situations. It is absolutely weaker if you planned on picking CI at lvl 40, which all things considered is still fine because current CI is way overpowered.

I spy someone who uses life! But seriously, the new keystone is gonna suck for CI. It's meant for HP/ES users, not CI. CI is instead going to turn to GR and become tankier than before for a few more nodes and a gem slot.
u can run with both, life and ES, and tahts best coz nodes are so close
