Yeah I think it would work.

But I wouldn't use that ring. I mean the golden key for this build is to have as much HP as possible.

HP gives us = more survivability, higher life regen, and LOTS of dps.


This build never has dps issues, at my current lvl 75, im killing 66-67 map bosses in matter of 2-5 seconds. I got hillock map boss down to 1% before he healed to full hp. And my gear costs only a total of ~3 exalts.

And since all this build does is focus on life/regen nodes you scale REALLY good with HP.

So I'd use a 110hp ring over a berek's pass any day.

Reasons not to use this ring:

1. Has no +life
2. Gives you energy shield which makes RF hurt us more
3. RF doesn't count as you being ignited
4. You never get frozen for longer than a fraction of a second due to huge health pool

*extra credit
There are 4 different burn effects that can exist on a single monster or player:
1. Ignite resulting from a fire hit.
2. RF area effect
3. Fire Trap ground fire effect
4. Searing Bond effect

I openned a Marauder to make this build.
now I saw that the Righteous Fire is on the Off Hand (Staff), and he staff is 2 hands weapon...
So how you make it work without ur shield on?

why you need the Firestorm Spell?
Can I go with Molten shell and take out the Firestorm Spell?

He doesn't actually mean off-hand. He means 2nd weapon set. You can have 2 sets of weapons and you switch between them by pressing 'X'.

Fire-storm is probably for killing totems. Totems aren't affected by RF. You can use any spell you see fit for that job - also the new flameblast.

But I can actually use leap slam for totems (its part of the build), so why to use another gem (like fire storm) wen u can use that sock for something better.

If I want to cast the Righteous Fire, I need to be with my staff on (The RF gem is on the staff), or I can be with the shield and the one handed sword and also cast the RF?

Because leap slam does practically no damage, and you can be jumping on that totem for minutes before getting a result.

You switch to staff (or double Redbeaks if you use that). Then you activate RF and switch back to shield+rapier again for your better resistances.

I just read that Inner Force actually increases the damage done to yourself. Can anyone confirm that please?

The fact that I may be missing something, also makes me ask why this build doesn't take the Increased Burning Damage nodes in the upper left part of the tree. Inner force also increases the % of damage you take yourself. I died on my first attempt at this build because of it

Could you link your gear please? Or could anyone link good items to get me started that cost around 3-5ex for all slots in total?
There aren't any items needed that are Nemesis only.
What you do need is the shield "Rise of Phoenix", and either 2 redbeaks or the staff "The Searing Touch".

But you also need need a level 20 Purity of Fire (any quality) to be sustainable
