[Nemesis] Tree Update 1.0.3! Knight Of Fire (Righteous Fire + Cyclone Marauder)

To clarify, culling strike on searing touch does not work with RF when you swap to shield?

How exactly would you use the redbeak? Do you let rf drain you until you're at 35% then switch weapons? And what're the links?

Cast Purity of Fire linked to BM > use flask > cast RF linked on an armor item > switch weapons > cast regular Purity of Fire

But purity of fire by itself isn't enough Hp reserved to get the bonus from low life.. and you'd have to make room in your normal slots for rf instead of just on switch

Do this every time you zone. Pull hair out.

Well once you hit lvl 66+ (you start this build at 65 with rise of the pheonix anyway) you generally wanna map all the time..

So do this once per map, doesn't seem too shabby?
How do you deal with people running discipline in a party?
I am wanting to start a RF build, however i would like to use Arctic armor and Eldrich battery.
How good could something like this be?

aa doesnt stop the dmg from RF so idk it would be a waste because if you alrdy have high fire res why go AA
ign sooner
Any thoughts on going tempest shield too? Free 5% block and the dmg will be amplified nicely with RF. Maybe link tempest shield with reduced mana, iron will?

It is possible to run purity of fire, vitality, (grace/determination) and tempest shield.
According to the wiki RF has a range of 10, and Cyclone with a rapier has a range of 7.
So it would seem you hit the mobs with the fire before you them with the rapier. That would mean EE gave the wrong penalty to res on mobs.
Obviously this is not so. Can anyone explain that please?

I'm pretty sure RF does not proc EE, also can anybody answer my question about having culling strike on the searing touch?

Thanks. And about your question, Culling Strike isn't triggered by RF either, from what I have been able to read. CS is an on-hit effect, and RS never hits (same as with EE btw :) )

Unfortunately that doesn't answer your question on WHY it is being used in this build.
