why would i want unwavering? when i use eye of chayula have you even read the guide? its to many points and you take alternate path to waste more points for something you dont really need, if you want to get more crit multiplier there is more at the right side of the tree but you are gonna 1shot yourself to reflect untill you get 8k es.

if you wanna "draw" something quickly then you are clearly not ready for it because doing something quickly and not seeing the flaws you have in your point system, you are missing crit chance nodes that are essential for this build and you are COMPLETELY ignoring all the good nodes at the beginning of the witch tree, so i dont really see the comparison now, its like you just went full ES and then starting going to the duelist area for melee dmg.

i am very sorry if this sounds harsh but what you linked me really made me think like what the hell has this guy been smoking... because you are missing ES/damage nodes/getting frenzy charges for a cold crit that gets most of her damage from the wand and faster casting...

Look, I appreciate the work you've done on this guide, and in your responses ITT. However, it seems like your capacity for actual discussion can SOMETIMES be pretty lacking. There is a strong tone in all your posts along the lines of, "Hey did you even read my post!?!?! Just do what I do! Why are you doing anything different than what I am doing? BTW I'm soloing maps, so it works." It's part of the reason why you have so many deleted posts in other threads.

Yes, I read your shit man. Yes, it's good. Yes, I think there are other viable options for freezing pulse witches besides what you've outlined here. Who knows if they are better or worse, that's what discussion is for.

Again I'm not trying to take a crap on you here, because I really do appreciate people who take the time to write guides and also keep them up to date. I'm trying to get your thoughts on the choices you made, because I did read your shit and consequently respect your opinion.

For instance, Laz's ST Crit Dagger. Now you might say he is physical attack ST, it has nothing to do with freezing pulse. However, the core of the builds and their needs are pretty much the same(replacing spell damage with physical damage). This guy beasts through pretty high level content. He's chosen to take unwavering stance. He could have easily opted for EOC saving 5 points just for unwavering stance, another 2 pts from taking the higher path to VP, or 4 pts if you consider Vigor and the 18% EC charge duration a waste (7 or 9 pts total).

I'm not say he's right or you're wrong. But it would be nice to get input that is less overly defensive and more helpful. In the build I outlined there are still 21 points left, so stuff like Heartseeker or the left side of the witch tree could still be filled out. I wanted something that had adequate defense and offense while still getting VP by level 80. In regards to the frenzy charges they give 5% cast speed and 4% evasion (after Fervor) per charge which is nothing to scuff at. They're also extremely easy to maintain with blood rage, but also something I could see opting out of.

no im not trying to dump on you in any way but when you havent read a guide and then coming up with a build where you completley ignore all the other nodes that are a must for a crit based freeze pulsor, sure you can go spell dmg and power charges but you are completeley ignoring nodes at the left side of the tree. plus if you are going power charged base freeze pulsor then its a completley diffrent build compared to mine, since i see you take power charges. (if you are going power charges then you are more or less obliged to use a weapon called void battery)

making guides are about to be efficent as much as possible. but you just wasted 100 points on your guide where you lose ES you lose damage and get many nodes that you dont acctually need, sure you can go for unwavering if you want and skip eye of chayula but you will then either lose ES or Damage depending on what neck you are going and what points you are ready to give up if you want unwavering? more es? more damage?

and as you said, "i did this quickly" and for me it sounded like someone didnt want to take their time and read all of the guide before asking question, you have to realise i get whispers for my guide and i help a lot of people with their builds and even done scion/shadow crit based builds.

im sorry if i sounded rude but when someone links me a tree and ask me to take a look on something they did quickly sounds more or less like someone wants their work done by someone else. and to be more realistic not many can level up to 90 on hardcore and you have to make a build work with about 95-105 points.

but i do apologize again if i sounded rude which i didnt mean to. i hope your build works for you and your playstyle anyways :) if you have any further question keep em coming that is why i made the build/guide

edit2: you cant expect going a similar build to dagger build as a spellcaster :D those are totally diffrent worlds compared to mine

almost 70 now, and ready to spec to ci, but I got to know, how do you value damage with this build? spell damage, spell crit, cast speed, cold damage in that order? Reason I ask is because I could upgrade my current wand to gain 5 spell damage and 30 spell crit but i lose 4 cast speed. Not sure if 1 exalt is worth that extra damage.....

Very interesting guide. Thank you for the great work!
I'm very interested what your defensive stats, whats your Armor and ES at the moment?

the spell damage does help a lot trust me 1 exalt for a wand with 30 more spell dmg is like an extra big node on your skill tree, but what i would recommend and what i personally would do if i tried to find an upgrade for my wand is to value spell and spell crit both in, while cast speed comes from a quality faster casting plus from a good amount from your wand.

if you have a 12% extra cast speed on your wand then thats enough, you dont acctually need extra cast speed to call it an upgrade as long as you gain more spell crit and spell dmg even if its mere 5% spell but the 30% is huge
