GMP is better in many, many situations. If both gems are lvl1, sure, go with LMP, but at higher levels GMP is way better! Except for when you play with 5 other ppl and they all have crappy computers, they all hate gmp+ice spear..

How did you get 10k DPS on bear trap? I only have 1.5k on bear and 3k on firetrap.

LMP lvl 17, quality lvl 20:
3 projectiles
0.5% * 20 = 10% ICS
-30% DPS
+30% lvling gem bonuse

GMP lvl 17, quality lvl 20:
5 projectiles
0.35 * 20 = 7% ICS
-50% DPS
+30% lvling gem bonuse

If IceSpear deals 100dmg per 1 second:

LMP dmg per spear = (100 - 30%) + 30% = 91
LMP cast time = 1 / (1 + 10%) = 0.90 sec
LMP DPS = 91 / 0.90 = 101.11 per spear, or 303.33 total

GMP dmg per spear = (100 - 50%) + 30% = 65
GMP cast time = 1 / (1 + 7%) = 0.93 sec
GMP DPS = 65 / 0.93 = 69.89 per spear, or 349.46 total

as our build is focused on long-range attacks (to reach second form of IS), u can't hit single target with more than 2-3 spears per cast, so it's a 303dps vs 210 dps. but yeah, if there is a lot of mobs (monkeys in a2?)) GMP probably would give u more chances to survive

1st: how can upgrade de quality of the gems and what is the benefits on this?
2nd: im lf the gems, but idk how trade or what i can offer.. i saw someone trading one for "2 GCP" but idk what it means.

It's the level on his bear trap+added fire damage. My 70 EK shadow has a lvl 17 bear trap linked with a lvl 17 added fire damage and it does 10kish DPS(thats only one support!)

Actually, more often then not all of my 5 spears hit. On larger bosses all 5 can hit. The spread is not wide at all if placed correctly tbh, and having 5 spears over 3 spears is just so much more practical. Helps taking care of and controlling mobs a lot better! When I get my thumb out of my wherever and make a movie perhaps it'll be a lot more clear.

1. gems that drops can have +x% quality (up to 20). also, u can use Gemcutter's Prism

As an addition, don't waste GCP on upgrading gems early on. GCP are very valueable and +1% quality on a gem isn't that big of a deal until really really late in the game!
