[Strongest Solo Variation: Projectile Madness Spectres] LMP/GMP Ice Spear 2x Totem 2x Curse 3x Traps

I finally found a Spell Totem gem (10% Quality at that) and ever since I saw Spell Totem, I've wanted to build a character around it. The problem is, I'm missing a couple of gems. Would this build be viable without Faster Casting until I can get it from a quest reward in Ruthless Act 1?

Edit: Also, when Spell Totem uses a skill, does it take the mana from your mana pool? I keep hearing how this build has mana issues but I can't figure out why since all you do is cast totems and curses.

fk just tested it, does not scale with spell dmg. fml the tool tip lies, it shows 4k DPS on mine. but its only 2k.


How about Fire trap, can you test it too pls :D

Would this build work with taking the points out of cold damage and moving them into electrical.. and then using maybe double spark or arc totems,

First time posting, but I've been using your build since CB and it's awesome. And I hadn't seen it until earlier today, but there is a unique ring that allows for an additional curse. I'm guessing this stacks with Windscream as well. Have you tried using it? I feel like this could be useful for partying stacking 4 curses on large mobs and what not. The traps are certainly a useful addition however. Keep up the awesome work.
I would just like to post some good feedback for hyper as I've been using this build since open beta started and it was pretty easy to figure everything out as i am new to the game. I did have a closed beta invite and i played for a few levels but waited till open beta to play.

Anyways i'm currently now level 48 and it's really easy soloing / playing with a party to do a lot of damage with the double totems ice spear and i even messaged hyper in-game and asked a few questions and he answered them right away and i thank him for making this build because i would have never thought of something like this and it's easily changeable to my own personal preference.

Hope to see some future builds from you in the future Hyper thanks again!

hey man i guess u know me from OB

today i got my hands on chain+ remotemine+ elemtal profileration+ arc
with arcing blows i could shock stack the enemies but the mana cost was pretty high and
the mines are not mobile compared to traps but therefore you have no reload timer

what do you think about remote mine for shocking or do you prefer conversion trap because its safer?

Unfortunately I can't seem to find a thread search on these forums, but I have a quick question. My apologies if it has already been answered.

How viable is this build for hardcore and which changes would you suggest to it? I'm kind of thinking about not going CI and just picking up some of the elemental resist nodes as well as some of the hp ones. Thoughts?

lol i have a problem my skills don't make damage :( im lvl 34 freezing pulse only fires 1 projectile and no damage its a bug or a passive for the skill tree?
For the bandits quest reward for cruel, would you recommend going +1 skill point or +4% cast speed?
