u have 879 es from gear, i have 873. im 81lvl right now and have only 4.5k ES, is it okay or smt wrong lol?

To noob thinking this will work ..i say no.

CI didnt worked out for me.

Couldnt buy an Aegis aurora and only had 2.5k ES and it just dont work on maps.



Will be giving this another shot once i can afford an aegis and til then its on standby.

Might be regretting to life build and see if it does better.

Now you just have to tell how to get an Aegis Aurora if you don't have Exalted Orbs. ;) My main problem at the moment, I have 3(!) EX left + other currency of course but nearly everyone (!!!) only want's Exalted. Not even divine or Chaos or Regal orbs or why not Item for Item? I never understood what's so special about Exalted, they are not even the most rare Orbs. ^^"
I still waiting for drop luck (at least Aegis is not an Map only item) and of course Orb of Chance luck (sadly, even white Champion Kite Shields are a very rare drop).
I'm sure this will be my only gear depending build, especialy after I heared rumors that aegis will be nerfed soon. It seems everyone uses this shield right now so better think about alternatives.

Been playing with this build the last days. Its awesome! I play only with the Raphith Globe and it works fine. Can't wait to upgrade my shield, but it works still fine with a 5L chest, crappy rings and amulet and Raphith Globe (I feel already undieable in most cases and like onehitting everything).

Btw what are these rumors? What part of the shield is planned to be nerf? And of course there's always the big possibility that the nerf will affect only future Aegis Auroras ( just like all other unique nerfs )

It was just an assumption in a thread about how op and imba Freeze Mine is and that an incomming nerf there is pretty likely, some mentioned Aegis in that discussion as an example of an OP Item that "needs" a nerf to maybe. Just rumors of course.
And Aegis Nerf would make old Aegis even more expencive so I hope it stays a rumor. I have a nice shield but it's not enough if I ever plan to use an Abyssus helmet for your build. So first I need an Aegis, then I can use Abyssus without much worry about the 10%+ more damage taken. At least Abyssus is compared cheap to get.

Never said you didnt..Im just saying i did try to make it work with less then the state gear and it didnt worked. Ive tested it and not just made assumption. Not saying you didnt said or that you did said otherwise.

got all the gear beside the damn aegis and its not working. This is not a rant or anything,just saying do not try this build if your already short on currency. I thought i could do fine even on 66-69 map and could farm some but no,its a complete fail. Ive got a perfect block spell rathpith and just thought it might worked.


edit : Life build could possibly work..ive yet to test.

I played from level 69 to 79 with Abyssus, without Aegis Aurora and crappy gear and I felt like a god. ;D I went up to 75 maps and it was still no problem.
74 map with Vulnerability, Ele Weakness (=~45% @all resis) and added cold for enemies was still quite easy.

Looks like you're doing something really wrong.
