This is my iffy build till i can get shavrones (its lvl 75build so it is manageble to reach pretty fast):


And this is lvl 80 when i get my hands on shavrones:

Seems bit lowish on crits but once you get these so called 'main stats on' you can invest 10lvls of worth on some crits (about 180% crit chance) and you should be fine to go.

It looks good, im looking forward to see how it works out with shavronnes. I have given up on getting my own shavronnes anytime soon as im spending all my currency on fusings and orbs of regrets :/

I also ran my build very low on crit, but ive started to force myself to pick more crit chance earlier, because i have noticed many adapt that way and they are right in doing so, running 18% crit like i did till maybe lvl 80 isn't exactly the most efficient thing to do, very fun though. :D

I focus first on some survivability then i start adding crit and other stuff. Cant be running with low hp and ES. Still using burn on hit gem since its very good when you dont have 25%+ crit, when you get like 25%++ crit chance i guess you can swap out chance to ignite to another gem but till then i found it very good for leveling since everyone around mob is burning like hell. Tho i always want to have like 30% or more crit on this build for that cracking sounds which makes everyone happy. So far its fun watching whole world burn, plus chance to ignite on hit, ele prol, increased radius and detonate dead is very fun xD

nice build! I`m following the old model and had some fun so far. now with lvl 47 I`m thinking about switching to the new direction. any advice regarding equipment swap for that change?
and are you using "power charge on crit"? a few pages earlier you said it`s not worth it

It's pretty much the same, depending on which of the older versions you are using (ive been testing out quite a few). Only thing you have to be aware of is dexterity on gear, some of the versions require 49 dex, but other's just 29. You can always wait to lvl grace and haste since they are not that important so it's okay.

I think the version i am using right now has slightly less mana so it's good to have a bit more on gear or pick up the 12% point.

Hey, looks good, don't see why it shouldn't work.

I think sometime before endgame you will want to get a high energy shield chest/head to save yourself from a lot of pain from things suck as flicker strike and puncture, but for leveling it should be good :D

Also eye of chayula neck is important since you have low hp so you will get stunned most of the time without it, resulting in loads of deaths.

Fuuck, im sorry about that. It's because there are some music fragments left from the recordings :/ Okay i'm not quite sure what to do about that right now, maybe i can upload a small fragment or something.

Sometime in the future when i got my 6L and maybe an upgrade on wep/shield for a bit more crit, then i will make a new movie this time completely without music in the recording.

I'm haven't tried the life based variation myself, i fell in love with the pure caster concept, but i know there were some in the thread that are trying it out.

But that is aimed for shavronnes so its not only life, but maybe you can use it for some inspiration.

If you were to go hardcore i would without a doubt use arctic armour with increased duration, just keep it low level so it doesnt cause mana issues. The chill in conjuction with temporal chains is extremely defensive, and quality will even give you extra movement speed.

I think you also may want to look into using either totems or basic minions. Summon skeleton totem, or maybe gmp ice spear, or chain arctic breath totem may be good. I also have been thinking about experimenting with a few points into minions and their health to use them as basic tanks.

I'm giving this a try. I don't have the jewelry but I have a pair of decent 3l Windscreams that should do the trick until I get the jewelry. I don't have CI yet anyway. Currently level 31, my Searing Touch is 6S4L, which is pretty decent :3

It's working out quite well so far, damage is insane, especially when I crit, though I feel a bit squishy at times.

Finally i have theorycrafted the ultimate build, which means that a complete rewrite of the guide is imminent.
