Ah...I read the original post along time ago, and didnt realize he updated it....I rarely go back to the OP on threads once I read it....Well..that puts me out of the race...too bad, I REALLY wanted a forum avatar. I'm not gonna bug Reaper, he is a good guy to have done this contest. Though I do like alot of the items posted here, and I wish I could be one of the voting parties, I'm sure the best item will win. And the rest, grats on those wonderful forum avatars/unique item creations. I would put my hat into the mix, if I was creative enough.

These little amulets are rather meant to be used just for the fun of it, you might not want to try it on hardcore though :p

The helm does imply a Kiwi bird *died*, but not that it was *killed* - unless Kiwis naturally live forever. It'd also have to be a Moa sized kiwi to make a human sized helm.

The Kraken has been released, and is on a short term probation. It's just under house arrest until Act IV comes out. Just like a certain butcher had a catch phrase about "fresh meat" before coming after you, the Kraken supposedly says "I think you need a hug!" before it attacks you.

UNIQUE HELM

Attract nearby enemies projectiles
Increase all life recovery by 10%
100% increased amour
Increase movement speed by 15%
Decrease Shock duration by 50%


I wanted an item that was meant for a tanky character, the ability to attract enemies projectiles can be dangerous for the wearer. But, it could have advantage, in group or depending on your build. Movement speed is for giving an incentive to lead the charge. The large amount of amour and life recovery is to compensate for the huge amount of incoming damage.

If kiwi beaks can be attached to helms, you know everyone will just farm kiwis. :(

Req.: 70 str / 70 dex / 70 int

All stats are variable.
88-888 Armour
88-888 Evasion
44-444 Energy shield
-5 to +20% Resistance all
5-100 HP
-15 to 5% movement speed

This torso has 2 sets of sockets (at the moment it drops they are always 1 socket only in each set) - that are switched with the weapon sets.

Can have both socket-sets 6-linked but both have to be "created" with fusings, jewelers and chromatics etc. separately.
The set the torso shows in your inventory, stash etc. - and that can be changed with currency items - is the one that was active as you unequipped it.
