Idea: Basically an item for minion or non-minion users. It's supposed to make it so people who use fire spells aren't gimped, since you know, cold is so amazing for dealing with necros and such. It's also supposed to have some interesting anti-synergy, since you have less corpses behind, but you also have added fire damage for your minions if you want to keep using summons.

Idea: This idea may seem a little strange... The mechanic is that when you strike an enemy you previously ignited with this weapon (or used a spell), the burn debuff is immediately extinguished. If the burn effect only ticked for 0.5 seconds, then you will only heal for the burn damage done to that foe from that 0.5 sec burn. If you let it tick almost until the burn is going to go out, you will leech a lot more damage back. So, the basic idea is - ignite a whole bunch of enemies, let the fire tick, then hit them again. This requires some good timing and a rather strange build - you want lots of added fire damage on your gear and you also want increased burning damage, critical chance, ignite chance, and burn duration. You might also want to use fire spells too, though this skill I think would be poor with fire trap, since fire trap is constantly re-applying the ignite debuff (resulting in less leeching power I think).

It's hard to min/max this item because you want to up your life count as well, not just your ES count, in order to get the most out of this necklace.

Idea: Great for thorns builds! Or also good if you want to counter something like an ice spear build. The "reflect" here is not like the monster reflect aura, but actual things are reflected, hence the projectile specification. If you're attacked by a projectile spell or attack, and it's blocked, it is reversed in direction back at the user, who still has a chance to dodge it.

Idea: Blight is a cosmetic aura available as a micro transaction. Surrounds your character in a murky, cosmetic, deathly forboding aura. This item is meant to tease players into wanting the fully-realized aura all the time via the cash shop, though the unique itself provides an interesting effect. It gives you a permanent elemental weakness curse (level 10 or 15 in its effects) as an aura which doesn't count as a curse, reserving some of your mana, but freeing up a curse for you to cast.

Idea: Pretty high damage for a low-level dagger, but it's pretty inaccurate. Its main purpose is to be build-enabling for spectre minion builds -- you can make your spectres cast their old spells! But every time they cast a spell, it uses mana from your mana pool, meaning, they can't cast spells if you run out of mana.

Idea: 1) You give up your chest piece 2) You can build hybrid life/energy shield 3) Your life pool can afford to be smaller than your ES shield, because half of chaos damage you take is converted into physical damage (which still passes through your energy shield), it's mitigated by any armor you're wearing. This is great because although you're still taking half chaos damage as normal, the other half is converted into a smaller physical chunk, and since 'small damage chunks' are best mitigated by armor, you actually are making chaos attacks very managable if you use full plate boots/helm/gloves.

Idea: You can't really use iron reflexes well with this thing - that's intended. What you can do is don all the heavy armor you can, get your armor rating as high as you can, and giggle as you start to see your life regeneration swell by a flat amount. This hopefully makes low life / high armor a viable build with this necklace! It's pretty balanced too. Average armor for end game gear, is what? Less than 15k? That's only 250 life/sec, and with very low damage mitigation and a low theoretical evasion rating, you're going to have low damage reduction, relying on your life regeneration to soften the blow. Of course, granite flasks and other mechanics are going to boost this armor higher and higher, but even at 30,000 armor, that's only 500 life/sec, and if your max life pool is low and/or you get hit by a hard hitting monster who critically strikes... you could be one or two shot so fast it might not matter. May require some testing to see if it's "fair" in an extreme case though.

Idea: Ridiculous cast speed. Great area of effect radius. You can bypass elemental resistances too. BUT, you basically lose a majority of your critical multiplier, which is a big huge massive deal for casters. In fact, such a unique would be very interesting - it would show how powerful and influential critical mutplier is for making spell builds work. The 20% to elemental effect is meant to soften up the utility of losing your multiplier.

Boots: Weight of the World
Armor
Immune to knockback

Reduces movespeed by 8-23%
Nearby enemies are affected by the movespeed multiplier on Weight of the World

Walking over crates/barrels/etc "opens" or destroys them (destroy = no loot)

needs a difference between spells and skills, so you can actually use melee/bow stuff without being silenced all the time. silence time and response time determined on drop, can also be like 1.2 seconds etc., so 21 variations.


Helmet: Bending Vision
Energy shield/Armor
Reduces maximum health by 8-25%
Increases physical dmg by 10-16%
+47 mana
7% chance to cast level 15 Critical Weakness on hit, also affects self
Reduces XP gained by 3-14%

My previous (quick and dirty) ideas:



One thing I was not clear about was that the Physical Damage and Increased Spell Damage mods should probably be local - I'm not sure how to clarify that on the item. Otherwise this thing would likely be OP as hell with physical spells... It's meant to be a powerful mid-level weapon (40 to low 60s, I'd imagine) that is effective for both spellcasting and melee damage. At higher levels, something like this would mainly be used for the Iron Will mod, as Iron Will can be a build enabler but isn't usually worth an entire support slot on each of your skills. I considered a mana mod as well, but this might already be a bit much.




I used "embroidered gloves" as the base...something I should have included on the bottom line of its title, but I couldn't think of a way to do that without ruining the item name. xD Either way, I've yet to see support gems added in this way (globally, rather than only to skill gems in the item). The resists are to show a range (25-30% means it could roll 25 to 30, for example).
