TSC: Giving away the chance to make a unique and a custom Avatar! *EVENT* *Winners Announced*
I hope not having a clue how to use those html templates doesn’t reduce our chances of getting through. :-)
*All items need to be finalized and fine tuned with regard to level and stat levels and requirements with the Devs help to make sure nothing conflicts. Also I might have the wrong name for certain skill types as I'm not up with all the skill mechanics* I havent really read much in this thread, all ideas are my own!
Spoiler
Chameleonic Bow Character is 50% transparent/see-through 50% chance monster de agro on hit 100% faster projectiles 40% less mana used Arrows always pierce All attacks supported with lv 15 Blind 40% Evasion and Energy Shield *For this item I am more concerned about its look than the stats on it, that said I’d like it to be a powerful endgame type bow. :-) I see this bow in the form of a chameleon’s head, glowing all mystical semi-transparent silvery-green. The chameleon has an open mouth and the arrows come out with an animation like when a chameleon fires its tongue at its food* Lac’s Waster - Exquisite Carved Rhoa Talon (the quick witted might notice something about the name :-) ) Claw Lv- High Damage- Lots! lol Always cause Puncture on monster 50% to all damage 30% Chance to cause monster to Flee 20% Chance to Stun 30% increased global Critical 25% increased Attack Speed 30% increased Movement Speed 5-10 % Chance for instant kill 5% of life gained back on hit Extra gore “Legend has it this weapon was made from the first Rhoa Talon found in Wraeclast. Lac had it imbued with power from the Eternals(Gods?) themselves. Once injured by this weapon your enemies death is assured.” *weapon has carved sigils that glow in the different colours of Rhoa plumage and pulse with power and float around the intricately carved talon * Eugene’s Unrequited Love Gold Ring Lv 10 Cannot Die Gain No Experience No items drop 50% slower attack/casting speed 50% less damage to monsters 50% less movement speed Can only be unequipped in town “Wearer is overwhelmed by Eugene’s broken spirit and shuffles through the land unable to find peace, solace or comfort in the form of possessions or death.” *Any monster hit/damaged while wearing this ring drops no items even if user goes to town to remove item and returns to finish off monster. Or make it so nothing drops in any map you are in. Cannot Die is disabled in PvP obviously. Accuracy is still taken into account so you can’t be killing high lv bosses as a lv 10(if that’s how it works)* Of all the items I’d want, it is this one, cause sometimes I just want to get through some parts and I don’t care about exp or drops. Caoutchouc - Moulded Latex Rubber Shoes Lv 55 Energy shield 250 Evasion 250 Cannot be Shocked Chilled or Frozen Immune to lightning damage 60% to Evasion and Energy Shield 60% to all resistances 20% movement speed 20% increased rarity of items found “Nothing fits better. Nothing feels better. Nothing protects better”. South American Indians have used natural latex shoes for hundreds of years. They could look something like the following. http://www.kew.org/collections/ecbot/pages/wp-content/media/2009/02/44195-pre.png http://colourliving.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/stuart-haygarth-rubber-shoes-strand.jpg Halo of the Ancients Circlet 50% less mana reserved by Auras +200% Aura AOE radius +100% Aura effect/damage +5 All gems socketed in item Map Lv 62 Could be called –“Send in the Clones” or “Cloning Around” or “Clone Wars” or “Doppelgangland” All monsters are Clones of you, are your level and use all the skills you do. “A narcissist’s dream…or worst nightmare” *Dont know how you’d stop people abusing this by going into Map naked and then equipping everything when inside. Maybe make it so you cant equip anything when in this Map* Map Lv 66 Map is like an MC Escher drawing. http://greenhorngallery.blogspot.com.au/2012/09/mc-esser.html Might post something else later. Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent. I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_- Last edited by Chameleon#4418 on Dec 14, 2012, 6:34:23 AM

This one turned out a bit too wide but hey:
I wanted to experiment with the idea of giving socketed skills powerful bonuses, but forcing them to have a cooldown. I think the result is a really interesting caster item, that potentially gives you the ability to have a skill supported by 6 support gems, plus 2 extra projectiles (with the cooldown drawback of course) To make it a bit more clear: Just by having this item equipped, all your wand projectile skills have two extra projectiles (kind of like Death's Harp, only better). However, the specific skills that are socketed on the wand get that plus the four extra supports mentioned on the item, with the drawback of a 10 second cooldown. here my submissions (in beta state):
Berserks Tools - Heavy Belt -20% to all resistances -20% to armor, energy shield, evasion absorbs 20% of all damge adds an projectile phys. damage skill which deals damage equal to the absorbed damage (resets on use) Shifters Needle - Gutting Knife +10-40 to all elemental damage removes all resistances gives you +75% resistance for the last damage type that hit you |

Reaper wants maps? Yay! Let's get some rolling:
So here's how the desert of Azebyr works: The map will constantly spawn monster packs and chests at random locations (aside from the "real" ones, which are scarce). These however are hallucinations. Monsters of this kind deal 0 damage, have 1 health, and dissappear when hit. Chests just fade when getting closer. The fun thing is that, like you've noticed, the heat and thirst from the desert (reflected in fire damage and slow flask recharge) means that you need as many flask charges as possible to survive, and hitting illusions is not going to grant you any! Here's another catch: The more hurt you are, the more hallucinations that appear, so there's a vicious circle of getting lost and insane in the desert. If you manage it though, there are many riches to be had, because of the 500% increased item quantity. This map should be tackled by someone with fire resistance! Some more. Remorse is just a series of rooms connected by doors. On every room, you'll face the monster responsible for every one of your deaths. This means the game engine must keep some logs but I think it's more than manageable. It already keeps track of how many times you die, so it must just be altered to also remember the monster ID and its level. Back to the map: You'll find the monsters that killed you with their exact level from when the death happened, so the first rooms will likely be low level monsters that bring memories from the time you played in Normal. However, as you go on and on, monsters will get tougher (and maybe have escorts). Since you can't regain life, all mistakes count. For the average person this map would be easy, but imagine if you have been playing for years and have racked up a decent 500+ death count. That's got to be one hell of a gauntlet! Few item ideas :
Spoiler
Onyx Amulet -------------------------- +20 all atributes -------------------------- +25% chaos resistance 25% of damage dealt converted to chaos 25% of damage taken converted to chaos Cannot use with CI -------------------------- Other option ( beside that helm ) to get some chaos ress, cant be used with CI users obviusly, with that bow it would be too OP ---------------------------------------------------- Staff of Elemental Madness -------------------------- mid to high lvl req / mid damage -------------------------- 15% additional clok chance with staves -------------------------- 25% of damage converted to chaos 25% of damage converted to cold 25% of damage converted to fire 25% of damage converted to lightning -------------------------- Whats better than a mad templar? ---------------------------------------------------- Berzerker Axe -------------------------- So this should be high lvl item with biggest base damage in my opinion -------------------------- + 100 hp + 2 maximum endurance charges +1% of life regenerate per second Remove all defences -------------------------- Idea is to build your defence with endurance charges ---------------------------------------------------- Lightning Mace -------------------------- mid damage, mid lvl req -------------------------- +15% elemental damage -------------------------- +1 to lightning gems 1 - 75 lightning damage +15% lightning damage -5% maximum fire resistance -5% maximum cold resistance -------------------------- Some love for lightning users too :) ---------------------------------------------------- 1h Axe -------------------------- also would like to make it some mid level range, little higher damage since it's axe -------------------------- 2% of physical damage leeched as life - 10% physical damage on dual wield + 15% increased attack speed on dual wield + 5% block chance on dual wield culling strike -------------------------- Not a single unique 1h axe ( i'm mad :P ) ---------------------------------------------------- Needle -------------------------- 1 - 1 physical damage -------------------------- 0.5 APS -------------------------- Maximum damage become 1 Ignores all defences -------------------------- Just trolling CI users a bit =) ---------------------------------------------------- Boots -------------------------- average eva / mid lvl boots -------------------------- 15% movement speed +5% dodge chance ( For Acro & Phase Acro ) - 10% maximum hp -------------------------- A way to little boost acro's dodge ---------------------------------------------------- Belt -------------------------- 5% maximum mana 20% increased effects of flasks 15% reduced flask recovery -------------------------- Increased flask effect/ reduced recover rate belt, nothing crazy ---------------------------------------------------- Ring -------------------------- + 20 – 30 physical damage -------------------------- 2-3% increased physical damage +25 to maxmium mp +10 to strenght -------------------------- Little boost to damage rings , since most common choice are ress ones ---------------------------------------------------- Claw -------------------------- higher damage, high lvl claw -------------------------- 5% life leech -------------------------- vaal pact 10% attack speed 5% increase hp can't block while dual wield -------------------------- higher lvl claws :) ---------------------------------------------------- Shield with spell block -------------------------- So this one would have low block chance and mod 100% block chance applied to spells, so it would still require large investment to passive block to be good, something around 15-20 max ---------------------------------------------------- Necromantic Shield -------------------------- average block chance and deff armor/int base -------------------------- +10% minion speed +20% minion damage -20% minion hp 1-20 added lightning damage 10-12 added fire damage 5-15 added cold damage Cant use with Minion Instability ( Necro Aegis maybe? ) -------------------------- Well, summoners dont have any reason not to go MI, maybe with some boost.... ---------------------------------------------------- Flask of Imortality -------------------------- 2 sec duration ( 2.4 with quality ) -------------------------- Immune to all damage during flask effect After effect end, all defenses are halved for twice of flask duration -------------------------- Unique Map
Spoiler
-------------------------- I checked suggestions and many of them are looking like regular rare maps. So, my map would have one NPC inside, which would give a player some riddle/question from lore/things like that, and if player answers right npc let him to loot room. If answer is wrong, there could be like NPC turns into unique boss ( i guess strong one :P ) and player fights with him.If he kill boss also get some minor loot. So since all maps are just killing stuff, one unique map with a bit different approach would be nice. Anyway, it should be pretty rare/ or have large pool of 'tasks', that way it wouldn't become 'read from wiki' map soon. I hope something like this can be implemented. (The Kiwi attack skill lets the pets attack, but they still do zero (1.5 x 0 = 0) damage. The good news is the helm makes your head like the little birds, so you can lead the fearless rebellion of the kiwis against the island of Wraeclast infilitrators. Sneaking in some more before the closing date...
Here's the magical cousin of the Facebreaker: Energy Blast: Your unarmed autoattack is substituted with Energy Blast, an energy shockwave that deals spell damage that scales with your level (It looks like Wand attacks). Explanation of Runeward: It protects you against the skills you socket into it. So if you have a problem dealing with Flicker Strike monsters, no problem! Socket in a Flicker Strike gem and you're set: It won't harm you. EDIT: I updated this item. Now, once Gems are put in, you can't take them back. This is important to prevent abuse, and switching gems during PvP battles, when fighting different monsters... Now, every gem socketed is a total commitment, so Runewards get "etched" with their users personal preference, which makes a un-gemmed Runeward much more valuable! This one is my favourite... What does "Arrows follow your motion" mean? Well: -> If you're standing still, all arrows you shoot will just hang there in the air. They may appear slightly to the sides to show there are many in the air at once. -> When you move, all arrows will immediately shoot (at normal projectile speed) towards where you're moving. They will only stop when hitting a monster, or when you stop/change directions, in which case they'll react to that. The stuff you could do with this quiver is endless. Things like using GMP to pincushion a single mob with all arrows, setting up huge arrow traps, leading "arrow snakes" through a maze... There's obviously a max number of arrows that you can have on the air at once, but the possibilities are endless. Last edited by Falcord#4858 on Dec 14, 2012, 1:56:44 PM

Lol DalaiLama I dunno about the stats of that unique, but I love the art. They so should have a "kiwi beak" helm.
