TSC: Giving away the chance to make a unique and a custom Avatar! *EVENT* *Winners Announced*

Here are two versions of of my axe incase one is not feasible:

The idea here is it makes a copy of you to be your twin to fight alongside you for 30 second or so (which is refreshed by getting critical strikes).

If thats not feasable, then a version that gives people a bonus for equiping the same unique twice (the weapons twin).

Terrifying Stare of the Faceless

a mask with no facial feature's just a blank fleshy tone with indents where eyes should be.
It doesn't really matter which mask, just one of the hybrid Evasion + ES masks.

+75% to ER + ES (or whatever would be appropriate to balance the rest of the stats)
+12 all attributes
+12 all resists
+25-33% chance to cause enemies to flee on hit
10% chance to freeze attacking enemy when you are hit

Flavor text

Eyeless,
Yet the most frightful of stares.
Some run, some freeze, all tremble.

the FT can be worked on :)
I can see your / Back is turned and / If I could I'd / Stick my knife in.
Crawl Away, TOOL

Don't get hacked. Make a new email for your account and use a long password.
Here's a quick one I thought of (text post):

Some kind of body armor
Sets all resistances to 20% (regardless of previous resistance and difficulty, no higher no lower)
Length of critical hit effects from elemental damage increased by 50%
3 Random properties

Basically it helps people who may have really low resistances to reach 20% (or some number) resistance so they don't get left behind, but also limits them in the fact that they can go no higher and they take more critical effects from elemental damage. Also the stats would be randomized so it could be used by various classes. Basically a helping item for people not as geared to still enjoy the game without getting rolled. Also could be used so glass cannons can concentrate on damage, but not so much so that they will just roll through the game (as 20% isn't exactly a large amount either).

Riposte: You attack back on every blocked strike. Here's how it really works: When you block, the time you would've spent in "stun" animation (or block animation in this case) is spent doing the attack animation instead, if the target is in melee range of course.

If you have 0 stun time, have unwavering stance, or whatever, it's okay. You will not move or flinch, but there will be a visual effect (like cleave's arc or similar) to reflect that you've riposted.

Also, note that this item should look like the old "bracers" that got taken out of the game.

The rationale behind The Duelist... I loved what Charan did with his Tipua Kaikohuru, because it brought back the gameplay of the single-wielder duelist that I like so much. However, if we stick to Tipua we're limiting that gameplay to low levels. I wanted to have an option for endgame characters to play that card. I thought of making a sword, but then all of them should use that specific sword and that's a limitation as well. With The Duelist, all swords and daggers become viable single-handed weapons in the endgame!

Spoiler
Doing a mid and high level version of the sword. :) I am still pushing for Riposte of some sort. I think 'cannot dual wield' should be the basis for a keystone. Maybe having three swords that say it rather than just one might sway the GGGods...

300+ responses. Man o man, I am not envying you, Reaper. I got the easy job: just donate some money to the little birds. You've actually put yourself in for WORK. Fool! ^_~

I thought I might as well give this a shot.

Lioneye's Manus Tornado Wand
Wand
Physical Damage: {53-60} - {158-180}
Critical Strike Chance: {8.8-10}%
Attacks Per Second: 1.3

Requires Level 65, 212 Int

{16-19}% Increased Spell Damage

{75-100}% Increased Physical Damage
Adds 14-41 Physical Damage
{10-25}% Increased Critical Strike Chance
2 Additional Projectiles on Critical Strike
Cannot perform a Critical Strike unless there is an active Power Charge
Consumes a Power Charge on Critical Strike
Point Blank

The item can only drop from a large mammal (this is preferably excluded from the item description). It uses the art for the longest three-fingered claws in the game when equipped, but the attacks look like normal wand projectile attacks.
same name in-game

Here's what I think will be my last entry... (Don't quote me on that though, I do these compulsively).

This one is here to enforce a different style of summoner... One less concerned with quantity (which is where most summoner items seem to go).

This would work wonders with Unstable Minions, or simply with a high HP blood magic summoner build. Also, some Mesoamerican culture references which go well with the Vaal theme I think.
Okay, who am I kidding... I'm an addict.

Corpse Eater: Click on a corpse to eat it and regain 25% of your max health and mana over 2 seconds.

This is a really strong mask, kind of geared towards blood magic users but not exclusively. The powerful life and damage reduction bonuses makes up for the lack of flasks. You can always go munch on these corpses!

I had an idea where when your zombie dies it sheds it skin in an explosion leaving a weaker skully. didnt develop it further. maybe someone would like too. Was a MI idea.
Smoother than Smooth.
Many exiles know of the wondrous mirror Kalandra created. Few know that Kalandra's mirror was just a stepping stone toward the ultimate goal - using the mirror to duplicate itself and create a shield made of 24 mirrors that allowed Kalandra to summon a horde of dopplegangers with the same fearsome powers Kalandra had.

Unfortunately for Kalandra, each time the mirror copied itself the new copy gained a small flaw, cursing the shield and eventually bringing about Kalandra's doom. The dopplegangers only had part of the power they were supposed to, but they had all of Kalandra's scheming intellect. During one epic battle that had raged on for three days, the dopplegangers turned on their weakened master. It is unsure whether Kalandra survived, but the tremendous blast that shattered the shield was felt as an earthquake tremble all across Wraeclast.

As the 24 mirrors flew apart, the powerful binding spells Kalandra had cast on the gilded buckler caused it to be duplicated rather than split apart. Each of the 24 Kalandra's Dooms now has just enough power to summon a single doppleganger. It is rumored that there may be a method using Portal gems and Kalandra's mirrors to combine more than one Kalandra's doom. It is also whispered around the camp fires that the few who succeeded in this combining were soon dispatched by their own creations.

This unique shield allows you to summon a doppleganger of yourself, that randomly attacks monsters that are near you. The doppleganger has half your hit points, does half your damage (randomly choosing from your highest 4 damage attacks). If you drop below 10% of your max hitpoints (or are at 1 hp) the doppleganger and all of your minions will turn and attack you until you or your former minons are killed.

The doppleganger does not need mana (and is not afflicted with blood magic, but has a short delay time between attacks depending on the mana cost.)

The rumoured combining (which could be remain as either a myth or a mysterious recipe) *might* involve 2 Kalandra's Dooms with 3 linked chromatic sockets, all with portal gems and 2 Kalandra's mirrors. The 2 dopplegangers would have the user's full power, but they could also be tempted to attack anytime the user dropped below 50% health. These fully capable dopplegangers might also steal the gear you are wearing if they are victorious...
