I may or may not participate myself, mostly just because I think it's a lot of fun to share ideas for interesting uniques (and boy do I have some ideas). For now, though, I just wanted to post to say... awesome idea! Kudos to you, man, FIFTH! Diamond Supporter Pack!? Lol, I'm still struggling with my frugal self to buy the $15 pack XD anyways, awesome thing you've got going here, hope you get some of the coolest damn unique ideas evar! Edit: Also " I kind of think this particular idea should be adopted by GGG (competition aside) to be made into three unique variants, one for each type of charge. The idea of a transforming weapon set it pretty freakin sweet, and imo there should be more than one but in limited use.. Charges are a great way to make that happen! One thing I would change: "max charges" varies depending upon how many charge quantity passives one has allocated. I would make it so that it transforms on 5 or 6 charges, as that requires some interaction with passive build speccing (+1 charge from the unique, but also needs at least one or two charge quantity passives). " No, actually this is quite a cleverly designed unique. Balanced.. I don't know. But clever for sure. It pretty much resolves the "expertise required" drawbacks of an eva based defense. Change the eva per level to an above-average-but-not-god-mod eva rating, and use only the drawbacks to acrobatics, not the bonus (gut feelings tell me you still want to encourage some eva speccing), and this would be quite the addition to our unique pool. Edit: and here is my first (totally serious) contribution: Braveheart's Iron Ring of Kilts +1-4 physical damage Characters without pants gain manly kilts (even Witches) Kilts are 200% more effective than pants Edit 2: I honestly think GGG should add a few joke uniques with mods that don't actually do anything. Morphs into... (by pressing X): Note it's "base" damage, so the mana bonus is actually quite huge Oh, and as a bonus... A new Unique I came up with =), for the loot mongers out there... It really fits the playstyle of some of my friends: To activate the first bonus, you actually have to click on the currency item, as if you were going to pick it up. The other two bonuses are pretty straight forward, and the life and mana loss one is designed so that the first one isn't exploited directly. However, there is nothing against creating your own interesting kiting strategies through dropping and picking up currency items. You could use them as health and mana reserves, too, for difficult battles.
