Spoiler
5th diamond? whoa, neat

This item is intended to work with Necromantic Aegis

For players with Necromantic Aegis all minion kills may summon a skeleton, including kills made by skeletons summoned through this item. The effect can propagate but skeletons die easy so it should balance out to be fun and useful rather than overpowered. The extra gore effect should apply to hits by minions if the player takes Necromantic Aegis.

When summoning on kill the enemy's body explodes into fleshy chunks and a bloody mess similar to Infernal Blow, but no damage is dealt. The skeleton appears to erupt from the slain enemy and no corpse is left behind. Skeletons summoned through this item receive full benefit of the player's minion passives and bonuses from other items such as Sidhebreath.

Slain enemies may summon a skeleton and Character level increases summon chance are essentially one mod but noted as two to give a clearer description of the intention. I'm thinking the chance should range from 23% to 40%, ie:

- 20% base chance of summoning on kill
- +1% chance per 5 character levels

The chance to summon would therefore be 23% at level 15 and 40% at level 100. This bonus should be unchanged if the player takes Necromantic Aegis.

Edit: 11/12/12

The summoned skeleton should be scaled to an appropriate level for the player for this item to be both useful and fun. Next page I've posted a revised version of this item that bases the summon on a socketed minion gem.

Edit: 13/12/12

- Updated the item image due to hosting problems
- Renamed item to remove 'Hell'
- Altered attack speed mod to apply to the player; it should apply to minions if the player takes Necromantic Aegis
- Clarified a few sections of the original post

You'll need to change the name of it. There is no Hell in Wraeclast. The name I wanted for the unique I created was rejected because it included Hell in it.
うにゅ?

This is more of a general idea then a finished item. The numbers are of course suspect to change tto balance the item.

EDIT1: I derped and didn't replace the weaponclass with wand. (fixed)
EDIT2: I deliberatly choose not ot write max/current Mana as I'm not quite sure about it yet, but I tend to max.
EDIT3: It would be cool if there was a burn effect with blue flames that uses the 7% damage as basevalue, porbable downside: the monster cannot be frozen or chilled
--EDIT1: i make a lot of typos--
--EDIT2: english is not my native language--

Thanks for letting me know, though I wonder if hellraiser as in "someone who causes all sorts of trouble" would be acceptable? At any rate there's a million other names it could use so I'll pick something else.
Life Drinker (Level 15 Gold Amulet)
Level req. 30

If no enemies are near you, you take 50% of your maximum health as physical damage per second (not in town)
enemies near you take 50% of THEIR health as physical damage per second
+2 Level to every gem you have equipped.
Unholy pact: Everytime you equip Life Drinker you loose xp as if you have died.

Option to make it even more dangerous (or as modifier intead of the +2 level to gems):
+5% Quality on every equipped gems
you loose double the amount of xp if you die.

the idea behind Life Drinker:
An enchanted amulet or whatever (bound demon, amulet that is an parasite itself, ...), giving you a lot of power but needs a constant supply of Life energy, or better will to live. It takes the life/will to live from enemies, but when there is none it devours you instead.
The unholy pact prevents a frequent unequipping to work around the downside and ensure that you know, it was a bad idea.

I dont know if the numbers are good, could be it is overpowered or underpowered.
Maybe it would be neat to have an additional +IIQ or +IIR?

EDIT: If someones comes up with a cooler name, be my guest.
