[1.0.X] [Witch/Templar] Multiple discharge + cast on damage + cast on stun = AFK mass destruction
|
|
" Hmm, I might test it some day, thanks for pointing out. |
|
" Videos from 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 linked in first post are without this ring. After getting the ring I was able to tank Dominus without bleed dispel flasks. Boosts survivability by quite a bit indeed. |

" You already have quite good gear. I think a 5L chest is the best upgrade. Untill then you can try CwS - Discharge - Life Leech - Increased Crit Strikes in gloves and the same setup but with CwDT in chest. Level all these gems to max. Might work. You'll also need more ES on helm and shield. Then a belt with ES and without life (to get stunned more ofted). And finally good rings. :) |

Ok editing my post to my current character since it has changed in the past 38 hours drastically. I have now let CWDT and CWS have full control of my character *was hard to trust it in a hardcore league* but Success!
Gear + Gem Links
Spoiler
*note* I have reduced mana in my inventory that i switch enduring cry out with and replace after casting grace. Tree

So since iv let CWDT and CWS take full control I have leveld from 71-77 and recently started doing 66 and 67 maps which are a breeze! One thing I noticed that can be sorta a pain and a potential problem late game is corrupted blood I can easily get 20 stacks within 2-3 seconds so bleeding flask are a must. might as well link flask while I am at it
Spoiler
The crit flask I am sorta testing it out. I also will be switching my 2nd flask out for a HP potion that takes 10 out 30 charges. planning to get +20 charges and remove bleeding on it. obviously the health potion will have no effect. Mainly for remove bleeding. 6061 ES with Discipline currently planning to switch out the middle circle ES nodes with the faith and steel nodes as soon as I get a few more lvls. I run grace+discipline for my auras on my mana. Also planning to get rid of the mana nodes at the start of scion and maybe go out the right side of scion instead. not sure yet. So the questions.
Spoiler
1. What map mods are the worst for your build?
2. for the helm links do 2 ice spears actually proc both at the same time? I switched it out with crit chance for now. 3. what do you think of this item with the build? I have sorta tested it and it seems the 60% less crit chance is not like 60% chance nodes in the tree which is kinda underwhelming. it brings my base crit chance of 44% down to 16.8% but multiplier from 464% to 636%. 4. What suggestions and/or Changes would you make to my tree =)? Sorry for such a long post but your build is very inspiring and with the last couple levels iv had its been extremely satisfying and exciting =D Looking forward to your reply =) Last edited by ScarceXrul#7889 on Dec 26, 2013, 4:48:18 AM

" That has got to be the worst amulet ever, seriously. Someone must have messed with the coding and switched the stats. If it read "160% increased crit chance" and "60% less crit multiplier", then it would be actually worth wearing it, if your build aimed for a lot of crits regardless of how hard they'd hit. As it's now, the reduced crit chance makes the increased damage worthless, because you'll crit a lot less and your regular hits will do sh!tty damage. It'll probably sit in my stash as part of my collection if I ever find one. Last edited by Os_Pirata#3858 on Dec 26, 2013, 5:56:14 PM

" Hi! Well, firstly I would not recommend it for hardcore: low armor and goes face to face with monsters. 1. Hard to say. Being on softcore, I mostly stay away from inconvenient mods like temp chains ant try everything else. Most dangerous are boss buffs and shocking ground which together can lead to huge physical crits that go through the whole ES buffer. 2. They don't but CwS is rolled separately for each linked spell (as far as I know, might need verification) and should proc more often. So I still keep two ice spears because ice spear has highest base crit chance and 600% crit chance modifier on second form. 3. I wouldn't recommend it because non-crits happen and you still need to deal enough damage to leech versus elemental reflect. But with this item non-crits deal only 25% damage which may lead to oneshots vs reflect. Besides that, crit chance is very important to sustain charges, especially without Voll's Devotion amulet. 4. Hmm, I haven't planned it as a Scion character. I think that this class may require more levels to perfeorm equially to a Witch or Templar. I would recomment to invest more into ES nodes, 6k ES might be too squishy even for medium-tier map content due to random nature of this build and low physical defences. Hope this helps and good luck! |

Hi
Thanks for the build. Been loving it much was wondering if you could help me out. I seem to do good but there are just those times were I seem to not crit @ all for like 15 seconds causing me to die and my ES is constantly dropping to 2-3k before crits come into effect but see your ES barely drops :( Are there any suggestions for my items. I currently run 7.7kES with max Res and 76.2 crit chance, cant run the ammy since I am on Domination. Any suggestions on my gear or other ways I can try to increase my crit change. Want to try to get it to 85% but will need a real good dagger for that part, as for the ES I should be able to get that over 8k easy with a new ammy .
