[1.1.0] Ghore's Immortal Incinerate Regen Tank (EB + Mind over Matter/Max Block/Max AA)
" For a tank build I feel the damage is fine with a setup like mine. Added Chaos does a lot of dmg to any non-bandit mob cause most mobs have low or no chaos res. The reflect damage is also pretty substantial. Any fast attacking mob will be decimated by all of the reflected lightning and physical damage. It's hard to compare the reflect dmg this build can achieve to an actual skill doing damage but like I've said before (and you can see in the video pretty well) it's a loooot of damage. The build shines by being able to lightning warp into the middle of any pack (excluding lightning thorns) and be able to facetank it no matter what. IGN: Ghured

What about run clarity and discipline linked with reduced mana + empower (level 3) in gauntlets/boots?
You can save 500 hp (no blood magic clarity) and have + mana/mana regen with less % multiplier(reduced mana level 22). You can still run AA + Lighninig Warp + another empower in weapon or shield and save another 3 slot for enduring cry + ? + ?(mabye some curse :D) IGN: crazyjake, ,BadAndAngry Last edited by crazyjake on Nov 11, 2013, 2:31:39 PM

" One-two more levels on the auras won't do much and you would have very little mana left over if you ran clairty, disc and TS on your mana. TS can't be dropped with a build like this, it adds far too much survivability with the synergy between anvil health/mana proc and TS's mana leech with the way EB+MoM works. I have a +1 empower that's maybe 1/4th of the way to +2 so I could look at how much more ES and regen Disc/clarity give but I'm quite positive it won't be much of a gain at all. The only auras that scale well past 20 are the flat ele damage auras. Technically this build could run all three on mana but you end up with not a whole lot of mana to work with for the MoM mitigation. Mana being bottomed out is potentially pretty dangerous with AA turning off as it adds a lot of mitigation as well. I know a lot of people don't like the idea of running clarity on health but once you get decent regen, a high lvl AA and decent physical reduction you can potentially have a ridiculously low health pool but with the way the build functions it wouldn't be a detriment. Most builds can't even get anywhere near the amount of mitigation and sustain this build can achieve, so you really don't need a large health pool compared to most builds to be effective. IGN: Ghured

Hello, OP.
In order to compare the tankness between your build and the scion sub-forum build. Do you mind to try to tank up Merciless Vaal's big smash? The scion one didn't die to the smash, he left about 7% HP and Mana after tanking it. Thank you very much if you could. |

hey, this build Armour is low。This is very unsafe

" Vaal Smash is a bad comparison because it does elemental damage as well as physical damage (50/50 fire and physical). Since I run an Immortal Flesh I take a lot more elemental damage from big hits like his. (which is the only drawback to Immortal Flesh when you build around it, big single target elemental damage) A better comparison would be taking a hit from Carnage (collonade map boss, stronger Kole) since it's all physical damage. I did test the vaal smash and after about an hour of him hitting maybe one in ten-twelve of them or so most of them will bring me pretty low health but 1 only brought me to like ~20% health or so. It does have an increased chance to crit so it's possible I was getting crit a bunch but I don't see how he could be that lucky, but it doesn't explain the anomaly of one of them doing a lot less damage. I can guarantee if the scion build had a lower max res (like mine) instead of 75+ he would get more than one shot. But that wouldn't be feasible as flesh and coil is a suicide combo. (as if coil wasn't bad enough) I have the footage and if you really want to see it I can edit and upload it when I have time, but like I said it's a bad comparison. I'll go ahead and try to get footage of tanking Carnage but as I've said before I don't play this character much at all anymore as I'm in the process of rerolling on nemesis, so I don't know when that would be. How about the Lightbane Raiment chest armour? I think it could be the perfect unique for this build
|

fun build!
How do you deal with lightning thorns? I'm still in nemesis cruel and it can easily drop me instantly already if i'm not careful. | |
" Spellblock helps out a lot with thorns but you mostly just have to pace yourself with thorns. Once you get enough spellblock and regen you can attack one maybe two targets with thorns with it being minimal damage but anything over that it's always going to be noticeable. It's pretty much the only drawback with Incinerate...along with Corrupted Blood. Corrupted Blood is pretty dangerous with Incin as well. Having decent physical reduction, a granite along with a remove bleeding flask will help out a lot against CB. Pop enduring cry too, get as many endurance charges as you can, pop the granite and just try to be as smart about it as possible. With decent physical reduction and a fair amount of leech most builds can tank the damage of blood as long as they are leeching...and then dispel it once there's nothing to attack and you're at max stacks. For instance my mara on nemesis can tank a 20 stack of blood with no endurance charges or a granite as long as I am attacking something. But as soon as the leech stops I have to dispel it otherwise it will bring me down to under 30% (from full health) before it naturally falls off. " It's too low level to be viable. It's got no real defensive stats on it and the defenses on it are very low in general. Consecrated Ground is a very powerful mechanic though, I've ran a Gifts from Above on several of my crit builds and it exponentially increases the survivability of you and your group. I would love to see actual high-end version of both of Zahndetheus' diamond chests. I'll never understand why someone would pay so much money to make a low to mid level item that people will never use. Even if the design is amazing and cool and truly unique...it still doesn't matter if no one is using it... IGN: Ghured

After some experimenting I've come to the conclusion that with enough mana you can run clarity on mana instead of health.
If you have atleast 1k usable mana after running all the auras you should be good to go. I updated the original post to reflect this. IGN: Ghured
