Which level of gems you are using now with CWDT? Or you left this gem because of nerf? |

I am curious, what level did you get all your gems to? Those that you didn't max is there a certain reason (enduring cry/clarity/cast on damage taken/decoy totem and any others you didn't consistently level up)? I am 56 atm and struggled to keep +all stats up so I can level my gems up (ele weakness/enduring cry/decoy totem iirc). Currently using +16/+14 all attributes onyx so I can make that happen.
edit: I would love to know how you balanced the stats as you leveled and if you used anything special to accommodate for the high int/str/dex requirement of the variety of gems that are used. Picking up some of the +30 str/int nodes seems like a must at certain points to keep leveling up the gems or potentially upgrade to a good wand. Definite +all stats was/is my friend until I get farther north in the skill tree. Maybe this is more dependent on a person to person basis as to what you can acquire in the way of rares, because I basically leveled with 4L blues and trapper boots. Would love tips on how I should start looking to upgrade my gear. Just about to do merveil in merciless, probably going to farm ledge til 57 or 58 and then do fellshrine beyond 60. Using my offhand weapons to make sure I level up as many gems as I possibly can, so that when I get the ideal setup I can just link, chrome, and set. " Try to grab a 20%+ Spell dmg & +2 To Fire Gems weapon, Throw your fire trap, multi Trap, Fire Pen inside it, In terms of stats I never had an issue with them since the build is pretty well rounded, so I guess just take your +30 Stats for now. Would highly recommend just spending a few alchs to get some resist + Hp gear if you're interested in buying gear. | |
" In my current gear, it shows the exact gems being used, Up until now i've been using CEDT + Decoy + Summon Skelly, Helmet will tell you the level. I just now found a better use for the 4 Link which doesn't incorporate CWDT | |

Harsh to hear about the death - That is the way of life on hardcore.
Very interesting build though always wanted to try to do something with traps myself - Will have to experiment. TFIGEGKTB
