what you posting sounds more like a troll post, i mean after all its a Community where people got different opinions and by seeing they allow end game OP legacys staying will result to a flaw into the game, who knows maybe the damage will never be repaired if they dont repair it now?

And this is not against ToU, you should read again whats against tou everyone allowed to voice their opinion.


Last i want to add its sad but a truth fact, the defender of those OP legacy is lately Always those who got those items, and thats clearly proves they dont look at the long way perspective, but only of their own gain, they dont care about balance.

As I have stated I own legacy items, and as an owner of these items, I too think they should be all nerfed and not just the new ones. This would be unfair to many current and new players as time goes on.

Again, Legacy items give us Open Beta players a huge advantage over newcomers. Casual players (less than 2hrs a day) will feel it the most. Will the market adjust? Doubtful.

Nerf one, nerf all. That way it's fair.

Nerf legacy items or take them away and add rewards through achievements and/or statistics system.

I have to disagree with this one even if i don't have high tier items, the players earned their way to those items, i think they have the right to keep it. also even if a new comer think its unfair, that's normal lol, i only played total of like 1 month i dont even think i can compete with the players that has stayed for like 5+ months. if new casual players want their legacy kaoms, they have to earn it like the old players did.

This is a real test for GGG, I know a friend that left D3 because of this very thing, D3 nerfed something he had just bought for $300 on their online AH. A wise decision in the overall mechanics in the game but it ticked off a lot of people. However GGG also states at the start they are totally against people in the Pay to win catatgory. Will they stand up for what they believe in and make a global nerf? Or will they line the pockets of everyone that has leet items by making them that much more rare? either way it looks like their gonna lose people.

Personally having lived through EQ's nerfs I see both sides of the coin. I think legacy items should remain, but I also think they shouldn't be unobtainable anymore either. Only restrited to certain leauges or as rewards, as for them showing up in standard, well that's what the filtered down cess-pool is for.

I am agaisnt legacy items If they will be in game I will play in new leagues only , though I thought regular hardcore is my home .

While I think you have some interesting points, I have to disagree about standard not being significant. There's actual hard data to back up what I am going to say next: Chris @ GGG himself has stated that on average there's about 50% of the player base playing standard even while other leagues are active.

I would be an example of those people who played the new leagues long enough to get the new league-type uniques. Nevertheless, once I acquired them, I went back to standard. The other thing to take into consideration is that part of those 50% of players mentioned by Chris @ GGG happen to be casual players of a certain type. They are people with real life responsibilities that only allow them to invest so much time into PoE.

I myself am a mid-casual player, and soon enough I will become extremely casual due to certain projects I am undertaking professionally. Standard is a place many casuals like because they don't have to play every single day for 4 - 10 hours or more to get what they want. They won't necessarily get what they want right away, but in due time they will. However, with the implementation of said legacy items, this would kill their chances of every having that chance.

Please try to put yourself in the shoes of others before making a hasty generalization of a certain league or group of people. I have spent a long time as of late talking to individuals/groups of different gaming styles, and it seems the vast majority have certain common interests. While it's impossible to please everyone all the time, it seems to me lately a good majority of people are not happy with legacy items, and perhaps that should be taken into consideration.

I have kept track of this economy on all leagues since January, and I've noticed certain trends that are indicative of certain things I am not at liberty to divulge currently (or at least I think I am not). I am an individual well-versed in the songs of life from many walks of life, and my nature empowers me to understand human nature more so than many other people. We all have our talents, and I use mine to help others. The subtext will be revealed to those of us that 'understand' coming this patch, and we will extract the truth no matter what. William Shakespeare's Hamlet said it best: "The play's the thing. Wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king."
