Legacy Items: An Owner's Thoughts & Guild's Thoughts & Our Petition!!! Note: Moderators Needed!

This thread is just a whine thread, i don't see why GGG doesn't lock it.
I agree.

I want an even playing field in Default. I don't want to have to play ladders to play a game that's fair, and have fair end every 4 months, dumping me back into a gamestate where I have no chance at getting the best items.
its a good idea so i agree

just nerf all at once so everyone has to deal with it equally

You are off topic, and you are being very rude. Please refrain from using such comments. If you check the thread, there has already been a moderator working on it. I have also conversed with another GGG representative in-game, and I am doing nothing wrong. The COMMUNITY has every right to collaborate to address concerns regarding this patch. The vast majority in this thread have been civil, and they are free to vote the way they want to. Again please refrain from such comments. Thank you!

For the casual player these reasons you give are irrelevant, as a casual player can not be competitive in this sort of game. Believe me I know, I am one of those casual players. The economy, the ladder, PvP, all of it. the casual will be at a disadvantage in all of these situations because of the very nature of the game and while legacy uniques do nothing to help that situation they do not add to it, nothing noticeable will change for the casual player these items will be expensive and OP but so will any other unique in the game in the eyes of a casual player. No casual could ever hope to have 30 exalts to trade for anything. In fact someone who claims to have 4 Koams Hearts is no casual and has no business speaking for casual players. I am a casual and I am realistic with my expectations other casuals are not and this is why so many are so angry over this. Their envy, jealousy, and greed are overriding their common sense. I know I will never be able to compete in this game, so I don't. I play on standard were I get to keep all my stuff and I don't have to worry about resets. Someone having a legacy item will not affect me in anyway therefore it is my opinion to let them keep them.

if you have more than 30ex your not a casual player man, at least from my perspective. that takes some work. just curious, how many hours a day do you play? how long did it take you to acquire those exalts? Hopefully you can see what I am getting at here. IF I spent most of my time trading rather than playing I am sure I could have a little more wealth than I do now but that's a choice I made and I am fine with it. I still maintain its silly for a casual player to think he can be competitive in this sort of game. That those types of expectations are unrealistic with the games current state. I mean this is why MMOs have been so casualized over the years so casual players like us can feel like we are being competitive. GGG obviously doesn't want to cheapen the game to allow for this so why bother complaining about it? Accept it and enjoy the game for what it is or move on. I know that sounds cliche but that seems to be the only logical choice at this point. for the casual player a level playing field is a practical impossibility if we want the game to keep any semblance of being a "hardcore" arpg.

So, if you have poe wealth consisting of zero to 30*exalted, you are labeled as casual.

Hilarious and totally wrong.

May I ask, what should be the poe wealth of a prosumer (between casual and pro)? From 30*ex to how many?
But of a pro? From how many ex to how many ex?

But it doesnt matter how "pro" or not players are and what are their chances at "competitiveness". What really matters (first priority) is that the game is balanced/correct/fair.

But the geniuses at work from ggg came up with this:
"Lets balance the unbalances by keeping the unbalances in the game" :0
Yea, anyone agreeing with that has serious problems in the attic department.

I wasn't trying to be rude, i just expect people to wait and see rather than judge beforehand.

Download the release patch and play it for a few days and tell me then how bad legacy items really are.

This thread shouldn't have been made before the patch hits but a few days after, no problem for me if the legacy items will be indeed a bad thing but its too early to judge.
I don't sign, I want items to be concrete. When I trade for a item I purchase it based on it's stats at the time and I expect those stats to remain.

You want items to be nerfed after you pay high prices for them? After spending all of your currency to get a GG item, do you want patch notes next week saying it's worthless?
