If you're starting this build up just now, I suggest you use Storm Call to level with at first. It's satisfying to level with a spell, and it's AWESOME. EK has better clear speed later on, but at first, that spell is OP. [3.22] 💀The Grim Reaper💀 - Hexblast Poison Mines Assassin

What gems turn out to work best with storm call? I tried it with lightning pen and that was pretty much it on another char.

" I did that, +Added Lightning (Q20) +Reduced Duration. It also works very well on Traps, if you have the belt. -- I'm level 86 now :) Alpha's Howl is AMAZING. Sadly, no MF, so I don't use it Solo. You actually get more mana than you pay if you wear it and use Discipline! Well, I'm running a 6L Lottery now. Kinda hard to improve the build without one. If anyone wants to help, I pay quite a bit (7 ex + 50c atm).

" Been leveling an infernal blow shield duelist and I just leveled to 40 while rushing A1 Cruel to ledge. I got to ledge and I went balls deep for fun to see how much I could take. Up, up, and away!
Apparently, adding just 1 (!) point of Spell Damage, added almost 50 DPS. Keep that in mind when you think a mere 10% more spell damage isn't worth the upgrade. Next update I'll hopefully have EK 20/20, so we'll see just how far it can reach without a 6L.
