Community Question: Why don't you play public parties?
I might party up in the future, but for now I want to enjoy the incredibly wonderful and dark atmosphere that the game has. Personally, I think that playing with other people ruins this kind of atmosphere, even if they are close friends. For instance, I also found that questing through the entire underwater world of Vashjr in WoW all by myself was one of the most haunting and immersive experiences I've had in games.

The game dynamic changes with more than 1 other player. 2 total tends to be a cooperative experience but more than that tends to divulge into "race to the champions and take all the loot". Sometimes I play public parties but usually I stop the moment I notice a player in the group that has a tendency to sit on items allocated to someone else until the timer runs out.

I think the important thing for most people is to be comfortable with other party members. This just isn't possible with people that you don't know, which is why I play only with people I know personally.

im focusing on getting to end game as fast as possible, and i do well on my own, my char isnt strong enough to deal with the extra life stuff gets with other ppl around yet.
also i really HATE how hard it is to tell apart summoned zombies and actual zombies. seriously. |

Some partys can turn into a pretty big cluster fuck. Other then that, I like to go at my own pace. Call me a loner but most of the time unless I know the people, I'll always play solo.
