No Summoner!!!

I'm a CI summoner right now and I haven't gotten much lag.
I can only summon about 18 minions but they die extremely fast... And I'm normally the one getting attacked by enemies instead of the enemies attacking the minions. It's a pain, I'd rather have been a melee, much easier.

Have you (summoners) ever thought that not everybody like full screen of monsters, enemy and allied.

And on top of that, certain summons cause immense FPS drops (fireball curtains for example). Which is not your fault, it's the game's fault.

My ideal party would be with 5 archers with split arrow (LA causes FPS drops).

Actually the 'best' class to lag out a game of D2 was a necro spamming the shit out of high level bonewalls all over the screen.

From memory it used to be a valid way to lag out the game and get people killed in hardcore (if you where a dick) and to enable duping *(since patched many years ago).

I have ran with 4 other summoners with my own summoner and the FPS drop was no more than 10-15 (60 to 45-50) with VERY rare drops to 20 FPS and a rock solid latency of 30-50 and my PC isn't that great (5 years old or so).

I love my summoner but I do understand how people do not love them if they have lower end machines or machines that cannot run PoE well.

Because I dont want 1000000 minions on my screen in my game.
It's not that my PC cant handle it, I just hate to play with summoners in party. I rather go solo or find another group.

what about the spectre summoners that have 4-5 zombies and a few specteres. They barely cause any lag...

Theres a summoner combo atm (no its not Cast on death zombies) that has the highest dps in the game out of any class. Shits all over 500k dps flicker strike builds that need mirror items.

People have no idea how to use summoners. They are the most complex and most interesting class in the game.

I get free spots in 77/78 maps when people see the utility and dps I can provide as a summoner. This is running 2 zombies 2 specters and 1 animate guardian.

Again the poe community has not discovered how to use summoner properly yet.

So let them bar you out of groups all they want, just solo the shit u wana play.

Everything you said is very nice, but honestly ? I dislike the concept of the summoner class in this game even if the Necromancer was my favorite class in Diablo 2. Maybe you discovered something that 99 % of people dont know but I dont care for a simple reason even if you do 1 million dps. I have no symphaty for summoner in this game and thats it for me. End of story.

And dont get me wrong, I have nothign against the players. I refuse to party with LA based rangers aswell because spamming shocking effects all over my screen with GMP makes my eyes bleed. Thats why i turn of static, frost nova, fire shrines in Domination. I just want a clear screen.

i played BF3 multiplayer @ ultra settings on my PC yet i cant even play smoothly this game setting at lowest.
