Perz' Reave Shadow
Hello,
First of all, I LOVE this build, i've been playing it for quite a while (even though im only 77 because i dont have that much time)and i have tons of fun with it. My main question is if i follow the ES version and use a regalia, which gem should i use in replacement of Conc effect? Since i'd have to stop using it because i no longer have the area bonus from carcass jack. |

" you dont have to lose conc effect. since you will get lots of blue gems on a vaal regalia you could use incr aoe + conc effect as well. IGN: Perz | Reaver: view-thread/523959 | Wander: view-thread/742525 | Cycloner: view-thread/804489

" Or, you can learn those 3-4 AoE nodes in Witch area (same effect to Carcass Jack). Increased AoE+Conc effect is an unefficient combo in terms of DPS. Sure, you reave will have higher AoE, but i doubt it's worth damage loss. As for sockets, two blues (conc. effect and increased critical damage) are already plausible. You can also use three blues - add a Power Charge on Critical, to build power charges quickly and stable (which is impossible with CWDT). IGN: MortalKombat

I am really disappointed with dual-claw build. I will try to do it on the CI version, probably will have to start a new one. Dodge without a shield and energy shield does not solve problems.
Advise what build to choose from previously mentioned. Thank you) |

" Nothing can beat 500+ ES bonus for CI melee build :). Much more HP is the best bonus you can ever get. That's why Kaom is BiS, and same rules apply to CI too. If you want to use claws and CI, you actually dont have much choice with your build. You must make your build so you will get Vaal Pact (if you want to use claws better than Bloodseeker), claw life leech nodes, Ghost Reaver and CI keystones, obviously. The main difference between builds will be the path you chose to travel from CI to VP, and whether you choose to use Eye of Chayula, or get Unwavering Stance (second option is usually better in my opinion). As for paths, actually, there are just three of them: 1. Around dexterity area (this build). Nice for getting chill immunity with Alpha's Howl and Poiint Blank. 2. Around int/strength area. Good for additional crit nodes, fullfilling str/int requirements, Elemental Adaptation and US. 3. Through middle (Scion). Gives nice AS/resist bonuses, but nothing game-breaking. Just weight up, which is more benefitial for you, that's all. IGN: MortalKombat

" Thank you for advice. Will reroll into CI and dex. Coz something like lifebase atm. So need 30+ orbs to do such build. Hard farm time... ) Last edited by soafsoaf#5501 on Jan 20, 2014, 3:59:31 AM

Does Atziri's Mirror is good for CI build?

" So any unique shields aren't good for it? Just need rare ev/es one with resists? |
|
" Aegis Aurora is a build-enabler for CI-maxblocker. This is absolutely another build, of course, since you wont need VP. Saffel's frame is a wonderful anti-element shield. It can even make you IMMUNE to elemental damage (with Purity auras, Flask effect and Elemental Adaptation). Being IMMUNE is a very good thing against bosses like Megaera or Shock and Horror.... Other unique shields are probably useless for CI. Usually, high ES is your FIRST priority as CI build. So, choose a shield with as high ES as possible, and with some resists/mana, in case you cant get those from other gear pieces easily. All other stats (armour, evasion, block, etc) are secondary, and you usually dont need them. IGN: MortalKombat
