Flippers flip the same days believe ( currencies ones ), but i am not that kind of flipper..yet!
I can agree about buying an item for 90% less it's value.. is bad and a flipper should follow some guidelines. I am ready to rewrite the OP, if you guide me guys with what you believe is bad shared learnings and what is good. I showed what are the evil stuff you can find in the purpose of letting you be "aware" and maybe protect yourself. I am ready to read all your suggestions + your opinions on all tricks listed here. You can suggest youself aswell. But please don't answer with only : << IDK, maybe you should XXXXx ? >> You can develop your ideas on paragraphs if you can. I've been trying to buy scours and chance orbs to actually use, but it's near impossible to buy anything but a few here and there. Is this because everyone's become greedy flippers and will only sell their currency for 20% extra? This is anarchy league by the way.

One approach to flipping is when the seller and buyer are aware of the true value of an item and the seller gains the convenience of selling quickly and the buyer gains the convenience of getting the item quickly. Both aware of the currency penalty they are paying for the convenience.
The other more grey area is when an item is picked up for cheap from an ignorant seller or an item is sold for much higher to an ignorant buyer. Flippers exploiting the ignorance of their victims are always quick to point out that their victims should have educated themselves etc etc etc. So the real question is how do you tell the value of an item? And how much time do you need to invest? At the extreme end it is easier to tell, say a high iLvl 6L or in demand unique and you can use existing resources to get an idea of the worth of the item. But for more subtle items it is not that easy. How much is a 400ES chest worth if anything? What about the other stats, can they have a large impact on the value? How do you know when items with similar stats don't exist on the market at all. |

" No. With chance it is because everyone is chancing every Siege Axe, Occultist Vestment, and Spine Bow they come across. Scours are rare because you can only make them with 4 chance, and everyone uses them to roll maps because a Scour + Alch is worth slightly less (in the market) than a Chaos is. " Yes, those are good questions. I was thinking of making a price check guide, something global without fixed prices, so all players from all leagues could benefit. Yeah we should unite and make that! Another thing is, what if an item is good but need great marketing skills to be able to be flipped, i am thinking about a gg mace i found that i bought 1EX from the seller, if i did not buy it he would have probably sold it to another for 2-3ex since he was in a hurry. We can assume it's a 100%-200% flip. But, i spent a lot of time advertizing it and i finished selling it for around ~700% it's value. I ofc gave him 1 ex back, but i thought i should give him half my benefits. I am asking myself tho, was not that long time advertizing the item worth i give him 1 ex only rather then give him half my benefits.
