The OP still doesn't explain where 90% of the orbs in the economy come from.

The bartering economic system protects you from not being able to flop items actually. It would be much harder to profit in other mmos

The concept that real players make up at most 10% of the economy is utterly ludicrous. A more realistic estimate for botter influence on the economy is somewhere below 50%.

Yes, it's exaggerated, it happened 'cause I used the quotation.
It can't be 90, but I still consider it's over 50 in standard and anarchy and lower in HC and OS.

Actually he said if you are making a trade with him you are buying an item for the established market price, determined by searching POE.XYZ.IS. What he is doing is finding items below that price and reselling them for the established market price.

Is he ripping off the people selling it below the established market price? Nope, not at all. For instance, I sell all my drops -below- the established market price by 10-25%. Why? So they sell faster and I can get back to playing. I don't care one way or the other how big of a pile of exalts I have. That's why I mentioned several pages earlier that if you loathe the trading game like I do, it can be worth it to find one person to unload all of your stuff to at a discounted rate.

Pretty sure that, even in Standard, you're exaggerating.

Damn hard to measure for sure though.

Without AH, it is very difficult to determine the current market price of an item. Because of that, people with excellent market knowledge can make a lot more profit, than in ARPG games with AH.

Wait what? There are already official Market prices established by GGG? So why it isn't incorporated in the game already, like with vendors, where you can buy and sell with set up prices, therefore you can't make any wealth doing so.
Oh right, NOOOW I get it, you just want to justify the behaviaour where someone makes wealth on someone elses account just because they don't have the sufficient knowledge, patience or confidence.

If someone brags they made their wealth by going after the poor, I don't want to have anything to do with them.
And if someone's making trades only to make wealth in a game, I don't want to do any trades with them.
When I'm trading I'm trading something I don't need = very low value to me, therefore I sell it very cheap according to your made up market prices, so I rather help out somene who needs it, by doing so, than just to make some snob wealthier. Therefore I'd like to keep a list of players like that to avoid them at any costs.
