I still dont understand why anyone would want such a league if its in fact already there. Simply by not trading every league is a self found league. I play self found all the time no big deal and no league needed.

Why play an online game if you don't want to interact with other people? The game is designed with varying degrees of trading/partying in mind. Besides anyone can impose their own rules on their play but shouldn't expect it to be competitive.

This. If people wanna play self found there is no reason to compare yourself to others on a ladder that makes only sense if you're trading.
I think races fill that role. They are short enough to not promote trading and long enough to climb up the ladder with SF gear.
