It's a rather shitty nerf particularly to life builds and bringer or rain/kaom's users.
It is not a nerf to me as a BoR user unless you happen to use elemental build.
Yes it is. Because if you are smart you are using 4 auras + grace. Thankfully this patch makes auras somewhat less attractive since you lose more skill slots and have to go for reduced reserved mana to be able to stack 4x % based auras.
Auras are very powerful. And I welcome any nerf to them even though I had to respecc and lost 1 skill from this recent patch.
This fix also makes Kaom and Lowlife builds weaker.

If you loose blood magic, then your skills no longer reserve life rather than mana, so they will revert to mana when they notice this. Currently this only occurs on changing area, but in future we hope to eliminate this completely by having it update if the aura is currently on you at the time of the change.
In short, yes, this is intended, and was in the patch notes.
If you want to gain the benefit of a piece of gear, you should be wearing that gear. If you take it off, you should no longer gain benefits from it.
Why the hell didn't you just wait? Didn't it pass through your minds that high level people are just going to take their items with them now and cast them every time they enter a new map? What difference does that make? Just tedium?

I respecced.
Have fun applying the auras every single time you enter a map, also will be impossible for lowlife builds in some maps.

I only use Frenzy, Enduring Cry, and Enfeeble. The rest are the "4 auras + grace," so I never had to resort to exploiting to add even more auras than I really need.

Using BoR without facebreaker... What a waste :-)
Joking aside - if you did have an alpha's or any BM item it would indeed be a nerf.
If you didn't then I don't see the point in participating in this thread since it is about using those items?
Also previously you could have 2 additional skills, which you lost the opportunity to have now. Or you must have the auras in your weapon/shield which renders weapon swap useless since you lose all auras.

Yeah....I'm burned out on this game. I think I might be done. Might have been the last nail in the coffin for me.

I use Facebreaker. :P
The reason why I participated because someone mentioned that peeps with BoR got nerfed. I simply stating not all got nerfed.
I am not a big fan of having too many skills on me. Frenzy, Enduring Cry, and Enfeeble is enough for me.
That solves my issue of reactivating my auras when I swap shields.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.
