Our view on map drop rates
Now there is enought map drops, actually too much. I have done alot maps few days, and my stash tab is soon full of them (60-62 maps).
Problem right now is: You get too much 60-62 maps and its hard to get higher ones. So good solution for balancing and higer player to get challence is to lower map drops rate AND make more snowball effect, when you play level 60 map, you are guaranteed to get a level 61 map and so on, so it would be possible to get played higher level maps without insane luck needed with them... |

" No, while I think the higher maps should have their drop rate a little higher, I don't think you should be guaranteed a higher lvl drop. If you really have an ENTIRE page of 60-62 maps, upgrade them. You might have enough to make a 65-66. So far my experience with the new map droprate has been good. New character and so far I've run 43 maps between 60-62 and have about 8-12 in my stash. I started them at 58 and haven't had to do any grinding outside of maps for more maps, which makes me very happy. Finished 17th in Rampage - Peaked at 11th
Finished 18th in Torment/Bloodline 1mo Race - peaked at 9th Null's Inclination Build 2.1.0 - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1559063 Summon Skeleton 1.3 - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1219856 |

Been running a mix of rare and magic maps and like other people have reported running a magic map with +magic monsters or +rares and 10 quantity on it is way more likely to give you higher level maps than running a rare map with a whole bunch of annoying mods and 75+ quantity.
I quite like it now, can run some easy magic maps to get more maps and then run some rare maps for the challenge. I still think there should be a bit more correlation between difficulty and reward but tt's certainly a thousand times better than pre 9.12o - just about to run my first 66 whereas between the map nerf and 9.12o I never even saw a level 63 map. " This problem will go away completely once the trading system is up and running. As you can buy the maps needed from the website integration. "That's how you die properly, Sailor Boy.."

" What in the world are you talking about? If you're talking about stash pages, you obviously have never tried to craft your own armour. Otherwise you would know you can't do both. |

" but that doesnt solve the problem of end game content tied to rng,you shouldnt be forced to grind 15 lvl lower areas just to get to higher lvl areas - or better to say,its very discouraging - imagine that to get from ruthless to merciless you would have to wait for special portal drop, its just not very well thought out idea some of my IGNs:
