Official Blender Post! Lets theory craft for 1.2! 123k Cleave DPS!

He didn't update it. For lvl 1 CoDT you need level 31 or lower games like you said. You might have to get new gems or up CoDT if you want
Quick question, within the OPs post regarding gear choices, it stats that 1-2% life and mana leach is needed or say recommended to get on rings/ammy/gloves, totaling around 2% or maybe 1-2% on each piece, kinda unclear. Now i understand the Life Leach aspect, but when useing Soul Taker, not that i have found one yet, but when i do what is the point of looking for mana leach?

Thanks!

You only need mana leech before you get Soul Taker.

lets just say you used cleave insted of cyclone/dual strike, how much dps would you be doing? (considering you have the same gear etc) because i really want to make a fast attack speed cleave build

Cleave dps will be only 2%-3% less than Cyclone with the same supports. But with Multistrike against Concentrated Effect, the gap will become larger.
Awesome build. I've been using this build for awhile now and I really love it. I tried few other builds but so far this is the most fun build I have played.

Spoiler

I got 49k dps with dual strike and 4.8k hp. I'm also thinking off using a mirror on the #1 axe ingame and respec some of my nodes to axe nodes but I haven't decided yet since the "vaal pact" effect from bloodseeker is awesome.

Also when it comes to survivability I use 2 cwdt gems low lvl cwdt > enduring cry > immortal call > increased duration and high lvl cwdt > molten shell > decoy totem > vulnerability. I get upto 6 seconds invulnerability with 3 endurance charges when immortal call procs combined it with the instant life leech effect of bloodseeker you are literally invincible unless you get 1 shot.

you can't use those skills with cleave? and if not is there a good cleave build?

Bloodseeker is just an alternative for Life Gain on Hit. You sacrifice dps on one weapon, but gain a socket. Thus, for a high enough dps rare weapon, that rare weapon + life gain on hit instead of your weakest support gem is better dps than Bloodseeker. And same survivability ofc.

Actually I calculated it for you - with a 366 or better pdps offhand, your dps will be no less if you replace Added Fire Damage with Life Gain on Hit.

Your setup should give you 4.04 seconds invulnerability with 3 charges, not 6. Besides, it is only physical invulnerability, most dangerous boss attacks are elemental. With Vulnerability instead of Enfeeble you will have greater dps, but much less survivability regarding big hits. But that's me, I don't like glass cannon philosophies. For me with BoR, second CoDT is a waste, I would rather put culling strike / item rarity / whirling blades in one gear piece and have enough free sockets for leap slam, blood rage and immortal call on demand.

You use Multistrike with Cleave and Concentrated Effect with Cyclone.

I'm not sure why but I'm certain that I'm getting 6seconds invulnerability when immortal call procs. I'll take a screenshot and post it here when I get the time as per culling strike item rarity whirling blades, I haven't really thought about that thank you for that awesome idea I'm definitely gonna try that in game.

Also I got a question regarding life gain on hit. At lv20 20Q it gives 54hp per hit right? so let's say my dual strike has an attack speed of 12 hits per second so 54*12= 648 hp per second? which is pretty low compared to the instant life leech effect from bloodseeker with 49k dps and 19% lifesteal I get 9.3k lifesteal per second and lets say your damage got 50% reduced, that would still be around 4.6k lifesteal per second right? I'm not really sure about the computation but it definitely feels that way since there's been a lot of times where I was below 5% hp and was able to recover to full hp in less than a second if not instantly.
