Could you perhaps show what sort of gems you might use if you didn't have access to BOR and soul taker? I'm a little lost. Damage was insane at level 35 but now I'm 55 and it's definitely slowing down.
The reason some of you dont have higher dps is because you're gemming for cyclone as your main dmg dealer. You need to link dualstrike with multistrike, splash, melee phys if you use 6l armor you can add fire dmg and faster attacks as well.

I know what it does. If you look at what the person above at this page wondering about his dps put in his bor you'd realize I wasn't wrong.
If he insists on using cyclone in his bor and want's to have dualstrike in another item then if it's 4l he could link it as I said (as a minimum). If it has more links he could add those I said.
I just changed my passive tree current stats at lvl 83
-7179 life ( 8% life/20 str node in 1 lvl will hit 7300)
-26k dps using bloodseeker with soul taker
-77 all res - 7 chaos
-11500 armor
-320 life regen/sec

i might mirror ventor's 548 physical sword and use that over bloodseeker and going cyclone/loh
i'm still undecided. 26k dps is still fine for end game maps imo
also, if i manage to 6l my wings of entropy , i'll get a legacy kaoms and shoot for 10k life just for those op bosses in the higher lvl maps. lol

I've been curious if my gem set up is fine and what I could do to improve my character or play style some more. I've been able to do 74-76 maps just fine, haven't really gotten and 77's but, regardless, I still have some trouble with Vulnerability and Minus Max maps.
My DPS seems fine but I keep hearing people have 20k+ and I'm sure its from having a better off-hand than me as well as a legacy Soul Taker. But when I ask if they use Conc. Effect, they say they don't. I'm just not sure how to up my damage more as of now without blowing a ton of currency on a legacy Soul Taker haha
I also want to try and see if replacing Conc. Effect with Empower (once its level 3) will up my damage. And I'm also curious if the "+2 to Supported Gems" will have an effect on the gems that are affixed to the Bringer of Rain. If anyone knows, please let me know!
As you have pointed out the new Soul Taker, might be a problem with your damage not going up as much, but I really don't think it is. I've done some testing with trying out new off-hand axes and the difference between a 350 and a 300 dps axe is not much.
Secondly, maybe its to do with your skill tree. To which you haven't shown. Put up your skill tree and I'll do my best to help you out.
By the way, most of your gear seems to be on point, in terms of getting damage so, your good there.
