Great list - Here are my Big Huge Ideas:

- Greater monster density throughout
- Seven-, eight-, and nine-link items for the highest levels - one additional link for each new Act starting with Act 4. Maxing out at nine because any more than nine probably would be overkill.
- Yellow slots and gems plus accommodation for the color-blind by way of optional letters in each slot, etc. Why other colors as well: purple, orange, sky-blue, aquamarine, gray, white, and even black?
- More voice-overs for all classes and for higher levels?
- Different music for the beach at the start of Act I. It needs to be a lot more foreboding, though I grant it is a subjective take.
- Make the life and mana globes smaller or give players the option to not have those on-screen. Maximize as much as humanly-possible the on-screen real esttate with which we have to work. It is one thing that really bothers me about StarCraft: one third of that game's screen is UI.
- If the resources can be found to make it happen, have a single server a la Eve Online, though Eve does use a separate server for China. It would help in making POE's server-communities into a single global community, which is one of the main attractions with Eve Online. Eve's main server is in London.
- Have an official Mac port. I know, I know... GGG keeps getting that request constantly.
- Bear in mind the 'little things' outlined in the original list in this thread, as with the 'little things' in life, is really a big, big deal. Quality-of-life is a major part of what drives people away and what keeps them coming back and donating more.
- Flails, tridents, double-ended spears, double-ended tridents?, pitchforks, darts, and more...
- movement speed gems

I would love to see the addition of spears and crossbows to this game. Spears would require more dex then str to use and have a increased melee range while the crossbow would require str, shoot slower and have a better range damage(higher min damage)

item up and type /itemlevel).



pressing alt in trade chat while hovering your mouse over the item will show the itemlevel

This is a no-brainer to me.
My thoughts: Unlimited Bandit quest do-overs, but you have to re-do the entire quest with Bandit camp instances being at your character's level+, and you get no experience from killing Bandits.

I say just make the pickup-flask sound equal to the use-flask sound, just like the pickup-weapon/armor sound and the equip-weapon/armor sound are the same for any one weapon/piece of armor.

I totally agree with this. It is never a good idea to type when outside of a safe-zone, but if you do, the text should at least be saved.
