Anyone else tired of finding common uniques over and over....?

I don't farm endgame maps so I guess I have no chance to find really useful uniques.
Overall unique-droprates are OK, at least uniques drop better than in the past for me. But It seems that PoE has as many useless Uniques like Diablo 3 has useless Legendaries and this means alot. Every unique Item should have the same dropchance imho (only level-dependent maybe). So this would slightly eliminate some "elite" players that can faceroll through PoE while the "99%" have to fight the hard way through.
Besides, I really hate the fact that PoE seems to be then balanced after the needs of the elite players, so if they wish some nerfs (yes, this really happens! O.o" ) because they think PoE is to easy (sure, with godly gear it may be) the wide mass of players has to suffer from that, always.

So I'm very for the "inflation" of high end gear, much more people should have it.

Because I'm finding uniques at the end of the game. Uniques for a lot of people are the best part of the game, so finding the common ones over and over and over again is very disheartening especially when I am grinding the END of the game where I would hope to find some high lvl good stuff, not the common uniques that I found throughout the entire game up to that point. I do leave them on the ground sometimes which is sad.

Argument 2)
Having low level uniques drop in high level areas is amazing for Altoholics, such as myself. Especially in HC. You can, preemptively, farm entire gear sets for dead characters. If you aren't an altoholic or you don't play HC then refer to argument number 1.


I have plenty of alts and plan on making more. Does that really mean that I need 7 copies of the unique tricorne hat? Should uniques become disappointing? Common uniques drop everywhere so if they didn't drop in maps would that really hurt people that much?

This one has already been made but -> Every once in a while I look at a unique that I've seen a trillion times and it hits me. Hey I can use this and make a completely out of the box build centered around it. Not caring if it makes it to end game or not. It's just something different and fun to do.

A unique item is not meant to be overpowered most of them aren't even intended to be rarely seen. Some are actually meant to be underpowered in every way but 1. What they are meant to be is exactly what they are called ... unique. An item that is unique to it's base type. You know what your getting the moment you mouse over it. Unlike the non unique rares in which can roll any number of stats. If you mouse over one and don't like what you see then refer to rule number 1.


I never asked for overpowered uniques and again I never said that common uniques should be removed from the game. However I do think that low lvl uniques should be pretty powerful or else they are just discarded over and over again which is sad. I like it when they serve a purpose and create new builds but many don't do this because they are low lvl they can't be used throughout the entire game because they just aren't powerful enough. Thats why I think they should be very powerful for their lvl, so that they serve a significant purpose for lvling.

Don't screw over the people who actually enjoy having them drop b/c you don't want your stash full of them. That is your own fault not ours.


I don't think that any suggestion that I make here would screw over anyone. They would still be extremely prevalent in the game regardless. BTW discarding worthless common uniques over and over again is not my fault it would be the games.

I rather have low lvl uniques than no uniques.

Maybe they can make sets but not big ones, just with 2 or 3 items max, like 2 rings 1 weapon or 1 amulet and a shield with 1H Mace. Would be nice.

I always find the same low level uniques. Only thing that means to me is that I can make risky builds on HC/ONS and have still a spare one in my stash when I die.

I love me some unique drop no matter what it is :D

Me, because trading is annoying in PoE. :D And who buys low-level Uniques? New players that could need them have no currency for that and high end players already have far better stuff than I could ever offer. That's just PoE. :D
At least the uniques can serve my own new charas good, I used the Fairgraves Tricone some time for my new Ranger and with lvl 63 she still has these Boots that turned out better than I thought (because first I thought these are pure crap XD )


But this doesn't change the fact that you still find mostly low-level-gear in high end areas.
