Anyone else tired of finding common uniques over and over....?

Just like in the Diablo games that I have played, I like to collect one of every unique. Aside from that I'll more than likely just sell or leave the copies on the ground (of the commun uniques). It gets really annoying seeing them repeatedly. I don't really see who common uniques can't have a high drop rate in the lower areas where they are the most useful.

Uniques are fine how they are, however it is annoying that most of the time the unique is a piece of gear you could obtain in normal while your playing in a map or act 3 merc. Low level unique's should be rarer at higher levels.

This is exactly why I made this thread. However what you mean is common uniques not low level. There's a few low lvl uniques that are awesome and worth a lot such as astramentus.

No, what I meant was low level base types, jewelry not included. Thing's like Wanderlust and Silver branch. I can do 20 merciless dock runs and not see a single pair of wool shoes drop, and yet when the unique comes, it just so happens to be a wanderlust.

This is a good point. I have also noticed that uniques don't quite follow the same rules as the other items. I wish they would have experimented with making unique drops more logical...

How many of these do you want me to have GGG before the game stops throwing them in my face in a vast orgy of disappointment? Should I have 40 of them? 50?

Is everyone seriously ok with common uniques dropping in maps or am I the only one who really hates it? I will say it again but I would rather find NO uniques for long periods of time than to keep finding the same commons over and over that are just very disappointing.

A nice solution to the disheartening effect of finding rubbish uniques would be to give them away. You get good feels for helping out new players that don't realise that the item is useless, and the newbie gets the bliss that comes from ignorantly accepting a wonderful gift :) mayhaps you will one day get a santa hat unique to wear!
