Petrov's Elemental Bow Ranger Build(s) (0.10)

I can never seem to catch you in game so i'll ask here in hopes your still checking these posts. I'm still running your shock/tanky build and loving it. Running level 17 wrath and anger I was wondering if it might not be better to drop the 5 points at the ranger start leading to perfect aim and picking up inner force. Especially when one of those points is accuracy which we don't need with resolute tech. what are your thoughts on this? I have the respec points to try it, but I don't want to use them, then have to use orbs to go back if it ends up being a dps loss.

how do i progress in the all out dps / tanker shock stack , i mean, where do i began to put passive points?

As you can see, I went kind of a weird way, but I still think the basic idea is there. An Elemental Ranger using BM. I'm currently farming for a regret orb to take away that last mana node. My current skills:

Split Arrow + Faster Projectiles + Life Gain On Hit (AOE/Life regen)
Burning Arrow + Weapon Elemental Damage + Faster Projectiles (Single target DPS)
Projectile Weakness
Grace
Decoy Totem

I'm not really having any problems progressing through Cruel, although some areas can be painful as I work on more resists. My question is: Should I switch to LA from Split Arrow? I really like the mechanics of SA over LA, but if one is more beneficial in the long run, I can make the switch.

Also, with a build like this, should I focus on life regen on gear, or just spam my AOE skill to regen it? Where should I go from here in the passive tree?

So I finally caught Petrov in game and asked him his thoughts on this. He was pretty sure the dps would be about the same, however he encouraged me to give it a try as it would only cost me 5 regrets. So here are the results!

LA dps with 5 points leading to 15% proj dmg node = 2519

LA dps with those 5 points used in inner focus = 2501

So for the same amount of points I lost 18 dps, BUT here is the fun part, I actually gained 2 int nodes to help keep wrath at max level AND I gained an additional 700 armor from a boosted grace aura. So I decided to keep this. The extra int + armor was very worth the 18 dps loss and my next skill point will be going back into the 6%ias node.

Hope this helps anyone that was curious!

edit: I used level 18 anger and level 17 wrath to test this.

Something I want to check into and many others as well. Could someone please please post the stat breakdown from life on hit vs life leech? I believe I read around 1k is when to move to LL over LoH. Can someone confirm or even break down the math pls?

Forget uniques, just get a op 3ele thicket bow and you're set.
