Petrov's Elemental Bow Ranger Build(s) (0.10)

hey mrpetrov,

very interesting build! I'm lvling my first ranger on HC right now...currently on my way to Iron Grip on the skill tree. there are some points that I don't fully understand about your choices.

1) right at the start you took a +4% IAS node after Perfect Aim. isn't that a wasted point and could be applied more useful somewhere else?

2) i see that you solely go for +elemental dmg nodes and no crit chance and/or multiplier. what's your reasoning there?

3) where do you go first from Iron Grip on? i would love to get Unwavering Stance asap (not so much Blood Magic for HC) but that's a lot of nodes to get there. do you think I should get it while leveling or rather endgame?

4) up top in the templar zone...I would grab Elementalist and Celestial Walker for another +20% elemental dmg and some resistances

it would be interesting to know how viable you think your build is in hc anyway.

Yeah, game patched today, resetting all skill trees and for some reason also the ones posted here... Weird. I can remember the nodes I've taken, but not much more than that :( I really need this build, heh.

Build updated folks. Made it slightly more efficient from a life perspective.

One thing to remember about this sprawling build is that you have LOADS of flexibility to adjust to your own playstyle. There are lots of life nodes you could take/sacrifice for DPS nodes (eg faster attack, accuracy) if you want more survivability/more dps.
