Petrov's Elemental Bow Ranger Build(s) (0.10)

What do you think about elemental adaption ? its useless ? good ?

Heya i started today a ranger and id like to ask some questions, actually im lvl 8 but i played 35 mins:

i want to create a ranger similar to 2 skill tree, using light strike with some support gems linked.

first question: whats gonna be my left click move (lets say the base one)? Light strike itself or something else? and what as right click move? something for single target? (for example, on my marauder i have ground slam on left and heavy strike on right).

second: about which level i should arrive at buying Blood magic skill? do u think i should already create the path to it now? or doing it later?

any other advice?

I usually do my main spam aoe ability on my right mouse button (right now that's LA), once mana (or life with blood magic) isn't an issue, then I'll do a single target ability on my left mouse button (burning arrow soon to be frenzy).

I was in my mid 30's when I got blood magic and it wasn't soon enough... game play completely changed for the better once I did. Just have to make sure you have enough life regen and life before you do... otherwise you'll be using a respec point in a hurry.

Firstly, please be reminded that Regal only changed it to Rare grade and gives you one more affix. People usually are prepared to use Exalted on it if Regaling turns out good.

Anyway, for affixes, you should be looking out for Elemental Damages and Improved Attack Speed. Good luck!

Hi, What dps you can have with a good gear & with a build Like the tanker Shock build.
With aura (anger wrath& without frenzy charge). Me i have 1650 on LA (chain/lmp/weapon élémental damage/life on hit) . 6590 on frenzy(faster attack/ add cold damage/weapon elemental damage/life leech).
Iam lvl 83. And i go respec 2 point (30 int useless now for me + 10'str) for take 8% + 8% projectile damage and lvl 84 15% projectile damage(perfect aim), i hope this point up my dps, or maybe i take + 1 frenzy charge (need 2 point for that)i dont know What
Is the best to take first frenzy or projectile damage. At the moment i have 4 charge (one get With bandit quest)

Pretty good if your gear supports it imo, there really is a difference between 75% and 80% all resist.

I actually just came by to say that I picked up Elemental Weakness as curse and I'm doing much better now. It's like doing 50% more damage, well, in fact that's what it does.

I have a small question about ele resist on mobs though, how high can it get? Is it 75% like we normally have? And in addition, do they have let's say 75% (because it is capped there) resist but if they are labelled as "resist to lightning" have actually 150% resist and -50% resist won't do anything as it would still be above the cap?

Ok thx, me i use conductivity for the - res lightning and the +15% chance to Shock

hello. I followed build nº2, now I'm lvl 58 with 600 dps on LA... I don't really get the elemental part of the build, what gear should I get? on what type of dmg should I focus?
e.g. my bow: what should I change?

Your bow his not bad with his atk speed and 5l, you can have more damage but first you really need new amulet with elemental damage and maybe weapon elemental damage, same for your ring you need ring with lot of elemental damage and maybe atk speed/weapon ele damage
