Petrov's Elemental Bow Ranger Build(s) (0.10)

Hi everyone,

can anyone explain to me how Ice Shot works?
Mr. Petrovs OP said that it is an alternative for LA, but doesnt it scale better with physical DMG than with Elemental DMG?
Atleast THe Gem says: " all Physical dmg is converted to Cold DMG behind the Target"
Anyone got an Idea for an effective Ice Shot Build?

While +1 Arrow is nice, I personally do not like the low attack speed which can be easily achieved with a Grove Bow (Which u can use now) or a Thicket (in a few lv's time). As for the 118 damage, I'm sure you can find better. Not to mention that the extra arrow may not hit due to the wider arc. The increase in attack speed also scales your damage and LoH excess to keep yourself alive when you needed to recover HP. If you are the thrify type, unless u can find some cheaper and better Grove Bow, you can consider sticking to your Death's Harp until u can use a Thicket if things are still smooth for you.

Intelligence mid lv can be lacking but after templar section, you will be picking up some intelligence nodes which will compensate. In the mean time, you can cover the lack with +Intelligence through equipment. I do pick up some Savants Nodes (Intelligence +30) along the way but may prob refund them soon when I find that I have exceeded the Intelligence needed either through nodes or equipment I feel I will be using for quite awhile.

Thanks for the advice Hellmode. I'm having issues getting past Piety in the catacombs right now. Other than that, I am fine. I will wait until i'm 56 then start investing in a thicket bow.

Hi all! I just hit level 71 as a LA archer with a ... let's call it a custom build, and I'm at a loss for what to go to next. Could anyone help suggest some things to go for (or possibly even respec for)?

I have 2200 HP before auras, 70/75/75/-60 resists, ~1960 dps LA with WED/LMP/LifeGain and Anger/Wrath on.

Here's my passive tree:

Note that I'm short a couple passive points because I haven't completed A3 yet (rushed to the lab, and been doing maps)

Not an expert, but if you are looking for opinions, I suggest to grab those HP nodes around your path (defensive) or head towards Inner Force (offensive).

I'm digging the popular build, just got to level 42 on HC. Great guide so far!
