[1.1] Davos Seaworth's Elemental Split Arrow Build - Solo every map with ease!

I believe you, however true primary attack skill of this build is SA/chain, and frenzy gives it substantial bonus - that's what this is all about.

Juggling with three attacks sounds clumsy to me. I mean I know it's possible but after using two attacks it would be step back. Besides, mine third attack (like OP's too) is frenzy combined with culling strike /IIR/Q gems, for finishing bosses /rare monsters and I have to give up that too.

So it's question of preference - would you like to kill bosses faster, or would you like to buff yourself more easily at AoE main attack, and have massive bonuses of iir/q on bosses? I'm not saying what is "better" just that switching over for me wouldn't bring crucial advantages, probably vice versa could be said too. Just question of preference - both ways are viable.

-You still have full charges all the time, don't lose the frenzy bonus to SA
-So you're already using three attacks.
-You don't have to give up the IIR/IIQ frenzy.

Remember, I'm linked like this:
Main attack: SA-Chain-WED-FasterAttacks-LoH
Generate Charges/MF: Frenzy-CullingStrike-IIQ-IIR
Single Target DPS: EleHit-WED-FasterAttacks-LifeLeech

All I'm doing differently is swapping out one of the two frenzies for Ele hit. You just have to keep a little better eye on your charges, and you get much better DPS for single targets.
Im using a similar build . This are my Passives

Any ideea about how can i improve the build ?
I also got some questions . I run hatred , descipline , grace .
My link are :

Split arrow,
faster attaks ,
fork (still trying to decide between this and pierce+passive),
Crit rate
crit multiply.

What do u think about replacing crit multiply with add fire dmg and WED ( on a 6L )? My biggest concern is mana consumption . Now i can easyly sustain mana with blood drinker and 3% mana leech from gear but i dont know if it will be possible with add fire +wed.

Concentrated effect works with split arrow ?

ing : @BB_Split
Loving this build at the moment, and I haven't even got to my proper gear :P

Think this would be good?

Plan on getting gloves with IAS/RES/ELE DMG/LIFE

Lol, "similar" yes, because it uses bow and arrows. In fact your build is totally different from this one :) I'ts CI-ES high critical archer build, so not similar at all to resolute technique(no criticals), elemental(no physical), life(full armor iron reflexes) archer :)

I cannot help you much because I'm unfamiliar with most routes you've chosen. You should probably use high physical damage bow and stick to critical damage, hope reflect won't be a problem. This is the guide you can probably rely on:
ARCHERMANCER (10K AOE BOW DPS// CI // NECRO//VIABLE CRIT)
http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/364583

Afaik concentrated effect works only with AoE skills, SA is not one of those.

It that's your "bad" gear I cannot imagine how "proper" one looks like :)

This is high quality gear, it's hard even to find something better then this on poe.xyz let alone get it.

Your bow is slightly slow but I don't think it will be a problem for you, just stack quality faster attacks there if you haven't already.

Your gear is slightly too offensive based, I hope that your resistances will be maxed out, if not slightly more defensive quiver would be nice, although that thing is sweet if your gear can support it definitely. Chaos resi is not that important for this build, with our range and kiting abilities, still at least -20% is something I'm comfortable to play with, but it's not a must.

I will just say that imho flat ele damage is best choice for this build, it usually gives more dps then pure att. speed, but in your chase try to get both things on gloves, yes.

This build was never intended for "best" possible gear, I mean you can invest 5+ EXes to every piece of gear but difference wouldn't be drastically better, I think. Only difference you could probably afford more IIR/Q gear.

Ahh sorry I may of said that wrong, I'm currently using level 30- gear, with 550 dps. The gear I linked is what I'm aiming to wear :) Just can't decide on what type of amulet to get :/ I get 90% or so WED from gear, so would it be best just to get as much xx-xx ele dmg on the amulet as possible or WED too? If my calculations are correct I should hit the cap!
I really wish I could of found a thicket bow with good dps, but that was the best bow i could find :(

very interesting build, I might give it a shot after my dual ice spear tempy is done.

But, I want to start as a ranger. May you take a look at of my tree below

Also, I want to have some frenzy charges since I will be using blood range.

What do you think? thanks.

Sure, that would work but your dps is going to be a lot lower. I really do mean quite a bit lower. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable missing out on all those dps nodes. I think if you're going to choose ranger you need to pick up the 39% projectile damage. Still, your armor rating will be much lower, your dps will be lower, but your life looks like it will be a bit higher. And you'll have two more frenzy charges, though in terms of single target dps I'm not sure that would make up for the lost projectile damage.

thanks for your replied. So, I started as a duelist and now lv64. It is pretty lights out and op. I am thinking to go crit build in this variation due to my gears.

Gear

still looking for upgrade esp. on quiver and ring/ammy.

my tree plan

I have to go for vaal pack because crit build, I figure it is good to have anyways. I don't need to be a pussy against ele reflect lol.
I prob. don't need static blow because I am a crit build, but we'll see.
w/o any accuracy nodes, I have 88% chance to hit on split arrows now.

So 100% is the cap? Didn't know it, really?

Anyway, as I was saying, flat ele damage simply rocks here. Do not hesitate to take + xx-xx ele damage to wherever, ever. My old and my new amu:

In case you were wondering, new one was 1 EX. It was also highest ele damage amu on poe.xyz at the moment.

As for thicket bow, buddy of mine has really badass thicket bow in his inv that he didn't succeed in selling for the price he wanted. It's three ele 300+ dps thicket bow, and if you're on market you know what that means, best bows in offer (in that class) on poe.xyz are 250 dps. And yes, it's 5L too :) Only problem is I haven't saw him for days o/l.

If you're interested I could try to arrange the meeting, for small percentage /profit off course :) PM me if you're interested.

lol I was going to buy that amulet but I didn't know if I needed WED% :( And sorry I meant I should hit the cap for my resistance with the stuff I plan to use. I'd definitely like to have a look at that bow, you got any link to the thread its on or something please :)?
